Bought this for my preschool class and they loved it. We kind of just made up our own rules to it though.

    • Video/description is misleading
I am a school based Occupational Therapist. I ordered this in conjunction with the district physical therapist. The biggest aspect we were excited about this game was the eye-hand coordination and reaction time of catching the bear as he 'jumps' out of the stump. The video shows him reaching a good height and the children grab him mid air. In reality he only jumps 3, maybe 4 inches from the stump. Catching it is difficult for me as it only goes so high and falls again very quick. Very cute idea, but the video is not accurate to actual game play and really defeats the purpose. We don't mind spending our own money on cute games and I have a number of Goliath games including jumping Jack, Banana Blast, Pop the Pirate, and Rattlesnake Jake. My grandsons are just starting to play games - bought this one - and they love it! It teaches sharing skills - when you have to take one from someone else, counting skills when you are done and how many that you have, color skills, and just fun to watch the bear jump! They are getting the hang of playing games and winners and losers - but most of all just having fun. Very durable - not too many pieces - fun for the family !! ... show more

This is a fun game, easy to understand for the young ones and kept my grandson laughing. He was disappointed shortly after four games when the bear wouldn’t stay down in his cave and couldn’t play the game anymore.

My four year old grandchildren and I played this for hours today and had a ball. They absolutely loved every minute. The game items are well made, not too many pieces; the game is terrific fun!

This game is so much fun, my kids love it! My kids are 3,6 and 12. I bought it for my son's 6th birthday. My 3 yo was a little scared the first few times to push the belly because you don't know when the bear will pop out but after a few games she got used it to, even my 12 yo enjoys playing. The ages say 4t but my lil one had no problem playing on her own. The die is easy to read & it's a fun counting game too. I definitely recommend we have a lot of fun playing & the price is worth it! ... show more
