One purchase covers the full setup. The kit raises the seat 13.8 inches from deck to seat mount. The 3/4 inch pin slides into any standard pedestal socket without threading or locks. Pops in when arriving at a spot, out when done. The deck base accommodates bolt spacing from 5 to 6 inches to fit most jon, bass, and fishing boat decks. Mounting bolts are sold separately since deck material and thickness vary by boat. The post and deck base are polished aluminum. The seat mount plate is heavy-gauge black powder coated steel. Both resist corrosion in salt and fresh water through seasons of use. The coil spring built into the seat mount absorbs wakes and chop so impact does not travel straight to the rider.
