I love this suitcase design soosoo much. Theres absolutely nothing like it on the market! BUT I’m honestly scared my suitcase is going to break after reading other reviews. I got it just yesterday and the top is so flimsy. I have a carry on that i payed less for and it’s more sturdy than this thing. It definitely is not worth the money… Like for a hardshell suitcase its not gonna do it’s job. I’m worried but I won’t be using it until july! I filled the suitcase to the brim and sat on top of it and it wasn’t as flimsy anymore. I’m just hopeful that TSA won’t throw my suitcase on the bottom. Thankfully the suitcase comes with a 5 year warranty number incase of things like this. I will be updating this post after my trip is over. ... show more

I recently went to Key West with this piece and the smaller matching makeup case. I love that it was a hard case, but the airlines were really rough with it. When I came back a magic eraser took about 95% of the marks off the outside; which was nice because if it had been a soft bag, it would have been filthy. The inside has a nice stretchy elastic belt for holding your clothing in place (it did) and the other side is a nylon panel (like the lining of the suitcase) that keeps that side completely separated. I also used luggage cubes when I went on vacation because I over pack. The pros: I feel the hard case kept all my souvenirs in place on the way back. I liked the size because it was roomy enough for me to overpack both clothing and shoes and when I expanded the suitcase; I comfortably fit my souvenirs and and a friends curling iron and souvenirs (her bag was overweight.) I had no trouble picking my bag out at the luggage carousel because the outside was unique. The wheels are very maneuverable. The cons: I have only had soft case luggage. Squeezing in just one more thing isn’t an issue with a soft bag, but it is with a hard one. I’m glad I used the packing cubes. The side that completely seals off with a zipper is ok but I wish it had a little more give some how. I put my shoes and toiletries on that side, and I wear some big, clunky platforms; space was at a premium on that side. Lol. I've only used it for 1 trip so far but it is super lightweight and easy to roll. While standing in line to check in I caught myself just spinning it around and around next to me simply because I could. It's a great size for a longer vacation or for delivering gifts across country. Despite its size, it was very light. It probably weighs about half of my older suitcase. My previous suitcase lasted for many years so hopefully the difference in weight will not result in a difference in longevity. It came off the plane a bit dirty but otherwise no worse for the wear so that's a good sign. It seems like people have finally started to take advantage of the many options in colors these days, picking brighter colors to stand out. That makes having this patterned design continues to stand out amongst the solid colored bags on the carousel. ... show more

I love the unique look/design and so far no malfunctions or anything but I’m not too incident it’s gonna hold up long term. The hard case is rather malleable and I wouldn’t be surprised if a bit of rough handling messed it up pretty bad.
