This thing does not work on my 4500 gal pool. It’s loud and sounds terrible, even after priming and getting all air out. Replaced the filter and added chlorine/shock/algaecide on a weekly basis and the pool was constantly full of debris and algae. The pump wouldn’t circulate water anymore after 1 month!

pump stopped working after two days, only ran for 1 hour each day. have other bestway products that work well. Am returning this one for an exact replacement - when it ran it was very powerful. Bestway makes good products, this one just had an issue, will continue to use their products. Replacement will arrive in short time - very thoughtful of supplier's.

This pump is fabulous! It has an on/off switch, so you don’t have to plug and unplug the unit. It has a powerful suction, especially when using a 25 foot hose on our brush vacuum. It pushes water out with great force, which is nice because it helps circulate the water better in the pool. The gasket ring in actually attached/fitted into the lid, which is helpful so it isn’t falling out of the pump.
