The scope is short enough to go on my SKS without blocking the loading port. The optics are pretty clear. The turrets lock into position. BUT: the crosshairs jump up and down as you rotate the magnification knob one way or the other. Go from 4x to 5x, and it is aimed at one point. Go from 6x to 5x and it is aimed at another. Returning for a replacement... if the next one is good, this might be a fantastic scope for the money... ... show more

Great little scope for the price. Bought it for grandsons 22 but didnt like the way it looked on it. Put it on his AR 22 and loved it. Looks good...works good ...and fits perfectly.. Good value for the price range.

    • It's ok but tiny
It's ok! I wanted something small for a Ruger PC carbine but not a red dot. This is definitely small almost so small makes it little hard to see threw. The eye relief isn't very good. The glass is good for 50 bucks. The 2-8 magnification seems to be true. The turrets are the best part of the scope I've had worse on scopes 5 times the price, there push pull lockable, there audible clicks, and not mushy feeling haven't done a box test yet so not sure if they track well but did zero just fine. All in all if your looking for a cheap scope that's tiny this is good. I personally would prefer it to be little bigger cause at this size it sacrifices to much. ... show more

    • Defective - no not buy it.
When the first one came I set it up on my gun. When I got to the range I went to make an elevation adjustment only to learn that both the elevation and windage knobs absolutely would not turn. I sent it back and amazon sent a replacement. This time (today) I tried the knobs first. Neither would work. So in desperation I chucked it up in a vise and griped the knobs with channel locks. It took all the strength I had BUT I did break the knobs free, both of them. Those knobs do not look at that great now but they do turn. Whether or not they work I will find out in the next few days. CLEARLY THIS IS ASSEMBLY PROBLEM BROUGHT ON BY SOMEONE WHO CLEARLY IS NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT HE IS DOING! ... show more

The main thing on why this gets a 1 star review is because the eye relief is terrible. It really is horrible. Im not sure if it worth it just to see if I can get a mounting bracket or just go with different scope in general...

Wow! Very surprised. Very clear glass. I like the locking turrets. Supper small. Have it mounted on a AR15 A1 Carry handle. Big surprise was how bright the Red and Green illuminations are. Real Mil-dot. Only neg. short eye re-leave. But for $45 who can complain? 100rds .223 and easy zero. Will be trying on my M4 next. ... show more
