ok, so let’s be real now. these are not fleece lined tights. it’s not a “different kind of fleece lining” - fleece is an actual material thing that exists in reality. i cannot believe the number of adult human persons who ordered fleece lined tights, got tights with no lining instead, but have somehow decided that they really are fleece-lined, because why would they put it in the item description if they were not? much more likely that it’s a special kind of fleece that has none of the properties one would expect of fleece - most notably, it’s material substance. look, idk why the vendor decided to misrepresent these tights, my guess is that it is the easiest way to get people to understand that these things are warm. honestly, i’m not even mad bc these are the nicest winter tights i have ever worn. it’s bitterly cold this morning and i went outside with my dog and i was as warm as i would have been in actual fleece lined tights - only difference is that these tights are so comfortable - i mean, comfortable in a way that is immediately obvious. i say this as a middle-aged Autistic who struggles with a very low sensory tolerance for tight waistbands. i do not wear pants anymore for that reason. i cannot have fun, i cannot enjoy a meal, i can’t talk or even laugh at things that are hilarious - all i can think about is my waistband feeling wrong and uncomfortable. i usually buy them way too large for this reason and even that often does not help. but these are so comfortable that i almost feel moved to tears lol. anyway - don’t expect these things to be lined, they are not lined, but they’re actually better than fleece lined tights, honestly. i’m definitely getting several more. ... show more

These thick winter tights appeared small at first glance but were stretchy enough to be comfortable all day long. Although much warmer than conventional nylons, I won't go as far as to say that they are in fact "fleece lined." The interior is very soft and somewhat fuzzy, but they aren't as warm as a good, thick pair of wool tights. However, they are more dressy than wool tights, so they're a good addition to the wardrobe for wearing business skirts on a cold day. I got the 3x despite the size guide because of the reviews and I was right to because they run kind of small. They fit pretty well considering my height and are really comfy. They’re not “fleece” liked you’d expect from a blanket but they do have some thermal felt of some sort inside. So they’re not as warm as I’d hoped but for a chubbier person who’s been looking for warm tights for my height in weight for a long time, they’re still nice and warm.     • Great tights, not the typical “fleece” lining

These seem like great quality and they feel warm. The “fleece” is not thick or plush — for me that is a bonus, I didn’t want super bulky tights. I still think this thinner fleece lining will still be very warm. I bought these to wear with dresses and skirts but will probably also wear them under jeans and pants, like a base layer. They seem very durable. SIZING: I didn’t fall in range of any of the size chart categories. I’m 5’6” and 118ish pounds, 26” waist/36” hips and typically a 25 in jeans. I went for the M size based on height since I can’t stand fighting against tights that are too short, and they fit very well. They fall about 3 inches higher than my belly button and aren’t constricting, but do fit snug like tights should. ... show more

Purchased "Tall" size as BD gift from Wish List. Recipient is 5 ft 8.5 in (upper end size ht range) 155-lbs (midpoint size wt range) and 32-inch inseam; she states these are first fleece-lined tights she's owned and is pleasantly surprised when any "Tall" size hosiery fits her long legs and is reasonably priced. (I can attest they look very nice.) Made in NC, USA, composition is 91% nylon, 9% spandex and "70 Denier appearance." Mfr recommends separate warm wash by hand and drip dry. Prior to ordering, neither of us noticed this hosiery has different "Slimming Levels (1,2,3)." Received pkgs labelled "1" described as "Without Control Warm Fleece Leg." Recipient states these are warm, comfortable and not binding, and that 9% spandex content is comparable to some brands of "control top" hosiery she has purchased previously. HUE Women's Super Opaque Control Top Tight Assuming these withstand everyday office environment, and do not shrink or fade when washed, Berkshire has her as a new loyal customer.
