Love this play mat! My son has always been so comfortable in it, it has a cozy and calming vibe and the small bumper makes it easier for toys to stay close. Highly recommend.

This is a bit too plain. No stimulating colors or noises. It's completely washable, just throw the whole thing in the washer. But since it's white, it's no that easy to keep clean. It can look dirty pretty quickly. Even after washing, it can look a bit dingy. This may be a great gym for a baby that can't handle stimuli. It is made well and the materials are soft and squishy. The pillow ring is pretty cuddly and the structure is strong, sturdy and durable. I don't like that the hanging squishy toys are not really removeable from the poles. That means you're not gonna be able to really clean them properly. I like that its so soft and cozy. But this isn't ideal, in my opinion. Lack of color and noise is great for some babies, but most need those stimuli for their development. And I feel like it will never look fully clean. So overall, the quality of materials is nice, but I think it's just too plain. The price seems a bit high, especially since it lacks in some areas, in my opinion.

My biggest issue with my first baby's play gym was I HATED how dirty it got from her spit up. When I saw this one was machine washable i jumped on it! It being gender neutral, and soft and easy to set up and transport are just some nice bonuses. It washes really well and really makes me feel like its clean whenever I put my second baby on it for playtime and tummy time. It is so soft, and with the slightly raised edge its the perfect little play toy for babies. I think this would make a great gift for a first time parent! I would just recommend putting it in something else because its packaging isnt the prettiest. But overall, great little play gym!
