These are pretty awesome! After reading the reviews I was on the fence, but all the other flatwear in this price range seemed to be way under par. I was not disappointed in this rainbow flatwear at all. They're sturdy at the handle, decent thickness at the utensil end. A couple tiny scuffs on a few of their handles but nothing unsightly, each was indivually wrapped to protect them in shipping and each group (butter knife, dinner fork, salad fork etc) was wrapped in a rubber band. Some of mine do have the prominent yellow/amber color and some are more purple, some are more blueish. I'm not upset though. They're 🌈 rainbow!! Yellow is part of the rainbow. And they gleam slightly in the light so that prominent color kinda changes a little. If someone's inspecting and judging my flatwear that much, they need to go on somewhere else. I just washed them and they're all accounted for, no burrs or sharp spots, nothing is bent, unpainted or dented. I seriously love these and I will definitely be ordering the serving set next. I read the complaints about these being "not very sturdy" but I don't get what those people define as sturdy. I don't want a 5 pound fork. A set like this at Walmart or kohls will cost you 40 to 50 bucks. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. If you really don't like them, send them right back for a refund. For real, they're worth it. ... show more

This silverware is colorfully fun, but I was 3 months into the pandemic and day drinking when I ordered it without calculating the actual weight of each piece. I prefer solidly heavy silverware, you know, the kind someone forged from the bowels of Mordor so you can have second breakfasts and defend yourself from a ring wraith if need be. I'm pretty sure I had grandiose visions of backyard BBQs or a large gathering of friends over for dinner who end up drooling over how cool our silverware is, and that they've never seen anything like it. So yeah, pandemic pondering through Amazon while day drinking is why we have it now. It works, it is pretty to look at, but I don't enjoy the lightweight feel of it in my hand while eating. I encourage you to buy it, eat with it, bathe with it!! Don't listen to me, obviously I discriminate against flatware. ... show more

These perfectly match the color of my silverware and I love that I finally have some serving utensils to match. I love having rainbow silverware -- just makes everything in my kitchen more happy. So far, these have been sturdy to use and easy to clean. If they are like my silverware, they should last a long time. I put them in the dishwasher with no problems and they haven't flaked or changed colors at all. The handles don't exactly match my silverware, but they still look very similar and it's nice to have these when I'm serving dinner. People initially laugh at my rainbow utensils but eventually they grow to love them and a few friends have even bought some for themselves. Make dinner fun again! ... show more

I've had the 20 pc set since May 2021. I've also bought the server set, soup spoons, long tea/latte spoons and the tiny dessert spoons. They are as beautiful as the day I got them so I'm ordering another 20 pc set (serv for 4) because I'm afraid I won't be able to find more from Berglander in the rainbow color. Mine have not faded in color, bent, gotten scratched, broken or anything so I don't know what these people who are displeased are talking about unless the beat the crap out of their silverware. These are large, heavy solid pieces... not cheap flimsy junk you buy at Dollar General or Wallie World. I take care of them and it shows. I wash BY hand with mild dish soap and a dish rag when I'm done eating, not 3 days later. I don't soak them in dirty cups filled with day old coffee or tea, I don't put them in the dishwasher or heat to dry. I don't scrap burnt crap off my pans with them. I show them respect and I've had them almost a year for the 20 pc set and almost as long for the accessory sets I bought as well. Only warning, the forks are sharp, obviously the tips are meant to be pointed people. Very classy, iridescent silverware, multicolor and changes hues beautifully in the light. Brightens my whole kitchen! Very happy for almost a year. So many compliments! ... show more
