Size, bend shape, and thickness compared to the others I found that just weren’t the same as my original. Purchased the 18 pack that way I have extras in case another breaks. I didn't measure to see how long of a straw I needed. I've had glass straws with a bend in the past and loved them; didn't realize they came in varying lengths. These barely stick out of the hole in the lid of my cup. So I'll be ordering some longer ones in the near future.

These straws are a bit of a bummer because of how flimsy the top white part is. I used it for my iced coffee this weekend (trying to do my bit to save the planet) but was really disappointed that on my first suck I got nothing up the straw. It just collapsed on itself. This was frustrating but I was able to figure out the right pressure and use it successfully. I’ll continue to use them since I bought them but I probably would recommend you try other more sturdy ones! That said, once I figured them out I got a good amount of coffee in each drink (the stainless steel didn’t affect the taste of the coffee at all) and they were easy to rinse out. ... show more
