Im really impressed with the quality of this monitor, I know its not a 5k , but its mac accurate, I just had to plug it in and thats it, I had to return another monitor I just got (VA panel) because I had a terrible eye strain, thats not the case with this monitor which is easy on my eyes. This is an IPS monitor, i got the 32 inch and even though is 4k the image is still clear and sharp, I'm using BetterDisplay to set this at 2720 X 1530 which provides 97.5 PPI (compared to my MBP 16 inch at 1496 × 967 which is 110 PPI) my eyes can not tell the difference, I know if you are a designer/photographer and need color accuracy, go with the most expensive ones or even a studio display (5K), but for the average joe, this is more than sufficient. apart from that, the screen does not reflect the light like my MBP does, really a nice addition. as I said, if you have a MBP and want a monitor with a similar color and image as the MBP offers, get this one which has a reasonable price. the only think i don't like is the back VESA design which is circular, I would prefer a square VESA design but thats a minor detail, in summary this monitor exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it. ... show more

I'm so happy with this purchase. The quality of the monitor and the excellent colors match my other Apple devices perfectly. There is a control panel you can download to change various settings but I really haven't had to mess with it because it's just that good out of the box. I went back and forth about whether I wanted to get the 32" or 27" but the larger one was definitely the better decision for me. It gives me plenty of real estate to do creative work and I feel like I'm at the theater when I watch movies. I can't recommend this monitor enough. ... show more

The size, appearance, and MacBook compatibility of this monitor are all excellent! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of one annoying thing, which is that you can't turn off USB-C charging while your laptop is plugged into the monitor. Since keeping your laptop plugged in all the time isn't great for its battery health, and my MacBook Air doesn't have an HDMI port, I'll have to use an HDMI to USB-C converter to use the monitor without charging my laptop. Such a converter is quite cheap, but I'm still rather annoyed because it seems like toggling USB-C charging on and off would be an easy feature to implement. ... show more

I’m honestly blown away by this monitor. Side by side with my MacBook Pro, the colors and sharpness look almost identical. I usually work on external monitors and every time I go back to my MacBook I notice how much better the screen looks,. This is the first time I didn’t feel like I was downgrading. A lot of 4K monitors look slightly off or a bit blurry with Mac (at least for me - i used LG, Lenovo and some of them were more expensive then the benq) , but this one doesn’t. It was honestly a relief. Connectivity is solid. I do wish it had a couple more USB A ports on the back for things like a webcam or MIDI gear, but I slapped a urgreen USB hub on the back and that solved it completely, while my desk is still clean. For the price, this is incredible value. It feels like getting an Apple level display for about a fraction of the cost and on 32". Yes it’s 4K and not 5K, I dont do high end design work so for someobdy like me it's perfect. Highly recommend. ... show more

This is a great monitor, but not worth the extra for the Mac integration. The software that connects to enable the integration is very unreliable and has multiple times got caught in an update loop and will not complete. I am required to force quit and delete the software and use this as a dumb monitor. Yes, I have update my Mac (m4 Mac mini) and I have redownloaded from the Benq site the latest version, firmware etc. I had the issue before and the new download worked for a couple of weeks. This time noting works... I give up. I would not purchase again. ... show more
