The box was out for delivery since early in the morning. It didn't arrive until late afternoon, so it was probably in the hot vehicle all day. The flowers didn't look good when I took them out of the box, and today when I looked at them, they were all wilted and sagging. The flowers come in a cardboard box with a vase. The media could not be loaded. These flowers are gorgeous!! They come wrapped, so you get to watch them bloom after placing in water! ETA 1 week to deliver

I hate to write this review because another item from the same company was a 5-star quality bouquet. However, these sunflowers, which were received on the same day, Friday 19 September 2025, were completely inadequate, for two reasons: (1) they arrived shriveled and did not improve after trimming and sitting in wetting solution; and (2) on Monday 22 September, a cloud of gnats were hovering around each flower (suggesting an infestation of eggs). These vary in quality. I've had some nice ones but the last couple have had several bad stems with blooms mostly dead. So buyer beware. I won't order them again.
