Big fan of this bag, it's stylish and has tons of storage. Huge # of pockets inside, the side pockets that you can tuck in when not using are great for coffee cup/umbrella. I wish there was one more outer pocket but the one zip other pocket is really big. Sturdy and stays up even when mostly empty. I sought out this bag after seeing it reviewed on Wirecutter. I wanted a laptop commuter bag that wasn't a backpack and this one seemed great. This is a well-constructed bag, great color and fabric, but two big flaws for me - the "laptop" sleeve is only big enough for an ipad. My 13" laptop did not fit unless packed sideways, but then couldn't zip closed...kinda defeating the weatherproof purpose. The interior water bottle pockets are great, but the exterior pocket is narrow and deep, an oversight. If this bag were reconfigured to hold a full-sized laptop, was about 2 inches deeper and had a full-length exterior pocket I would love it - please make such a bag. ... show more

The perfect tote for laptop+. Not a shopping tote. Professional but not stuffy. Lightweight, and so beautifully made. Has the right number, shape and size pockets. Barely-there silicone nubbies on the underside of the shoulder straps stop them from sliding off. One of the item photos looks like there is a laptop in one of the pockets - that is misleading. A 15" laptop fits in the main compartment. The largest pocket is good for a tablet, notebook, or in my case, a Remarkable2. A 17" laptop fits in the main compartment standing on end - not ideal but not too awkward, either. The bag really is not designed to stand up on its own, which doesn't bother me at all. ... show more

Initially thought this bag would work because it has really good internal pockets. However, within three months it has worn out and become super uncomfortable because the straps cut into my shoulder even when carrying relatively light weight. Wanted to love the bag, but I like the bag. Pros: Very well made, thick material, water repellant, long non slip straps, strong zippers, plenty of pockets inside and one front narrow outer pocket with zipper. CONS: not many to be honest but needs an outer pocket in the back where you can quickly slip your wallet, keys, or phone. The bag is quite narrow at the base and so it tends to tip over (that's my biggest issue). The base needs to be sturdier. I have tried to rearrange what I'm carrying and other than placing a brick at the bottom it just keeps tipping over. Note this tote is narrow and is not a multi use or shopping tote. I’m a fitness & nutrition coach and wanted a work bag that wasn’t a typical gym bag or backpack to carry my laptop, planner and other essentials for myself and clients. I wanted something that looked sporty yet professional because I also go to meetings, lunches, etc. This bag checks ALL points. Spacious but not overly large or cumbersome to carry. Beautiful classic color and shape, clean lines with the minimalist design I prefer. It has a separate laptop compartment which was super important to me, but my laptop is easily accessible from the main compartment.
