I have had the bunk in use for about a month, it's holding up well. I'm in the upper 200lb range and use the bottom for sleep the top for storage. The desk and closet are wonderful, the bench I kinda wish was smaller, but works fine. I was able to put the whole unit together by myself which is a plus. The directions are not well written and have quite a few mistakes in them.....but was to figure it out. ... show more

Bed is sturdy and took about 6-7 hours to build but was not that difficult. Seems to be a good bed. Queen on top is nice with futon on bottom gives lots of sitting and sleeping space to a small area. My only complaint is the ladder situation or lack of which would have been a deal breaker had I realized prior to setting up. "The ladder" is also where all the shelves fit into the bed so it makes the ladder hard to use. You would have to step on the shelves in order to get on the bed which knocks the smaller shelves out of place everytime and I fear will do long term damage to the larger shelf being stepped on like that. The ladder is hard to manuever even with out the shelf issue. I will have to buy another ladder and figure out a better solution to get to the top bunk. Had I realized this prior I would have probably not chosen this style because of the difficulty getting up to the top bunk and having to buy an additional ladder. ... show more

Love this! Very sturdy. Plan on about 3-4 hours to put it together but very good product. The only Queen over twin bed I’ve ever seen. We put a pillow top queen in the frame and it fit perfectly. The bed is tall enough for comfortable sitting room on the bottom but not overly tall that the top is too close to the ceiling. ... show more

Bought 2 of these for my boys. 1 went together perfectly and the other is very flimsy and with all the screws tight it’s very shaky and my 10 year old is scared to be on the top

Easy to assemble without a second set of hands. Sturdy enough for kids to climb all over. Only complaint is that the ladder rungs are very thin and slippery
