The power bank came with about a 50 to 75% charge on it. I plugged it in for an hour or so and then it was fully charged. I saw a few reviews that stated their power bank didn’t charge, or would not charge their devices. I had the same problem trying to charge my phone the first time. I found the USB-A port on the power bank to the USB-C port on my phone worked, but my USB-C to USB-C cable did not. (Note: the included cable is USB-A to USB-C.) A power bank should just work. This one, I believe they are not using any standards for the usb-c, no qi charge or PD available, just plain barebones usb-c. Which means if you have any good quality usb-c that accepts PD or qi charging it just won’t work. Meaning I tried 5 different usb-c to usb-c and usb-c to lighting and none worked. I tried those same ones with a different power bank and it worked no problem. I tried charging the unit and it wouldn’t charge either because of the same problem with the usb-c. If you buy this you are basically stuck with the usb-a to usb-c cable it comes with, that will not even charge the unit. I made a return ... show more
