I bought this charger and was very happy about it. It is much smaller than Apple's charger and can charge a laptop and a phone simultaneously which is great for when you travel. I used it with thunderbolt so I can't really comment on how much more faster it charges. So far it works fine but the reason why I gave 3 stars is because it's quite lose with my outlet and fell off quite frequent.
