I have the magnifier that looks like a mini microscope 60x-120x but it is very hard to use. This works like a charm and it's all you need to be able to see when to harvest your crops. I was worried that the large easy to look through 30x lens section would not show enough but it is exactly what you need to completely inspect your valuable crops. I forgot I also had on my cheap dollar store reading glasses but still really glad I bought it as I can easily see all I need to see. Using the 60x loupe section is a bit harder but still easier than using the 60x-120x mini microscope especially while holding the plant with one hand.

As expected. The 60x lens is small and very difficult to look through on these type of loupes but I knew that beforehand. The LEDs are decent brightness. The lens needs to be right in the item to view. Purchased hoping to see trichomes on my plants but it's not powerful enough. In my picture you can see the LED won't really illuminate the plant when the lens is close enough to see the surface. This is not the case on text, jewelry, etc. Picture is through the 30x lens. 60x is too small to see anything through if you value your eyesight. Works good for jewelry and other things, though, and comes with a nice case. I'll find another use for it, it's good to have around in general.

It does work, but it eats batteries alive! I ordered a replacement set of batteries and it chewed right through them too (yes the replacements were the right battery type). I got a maximum of 5 min run before the light faded and died out. I wish the 60X lens was a little larger too. I do like that it was light weight. I cannot say that I would purchase this product again.

Well, you get what you pay for and in this case, you get a "Christmas tree" of a loupe without any presents. You literally have to hold ANYTHING worth viewing (stamps, jewelry, cards, money, stones, etc.) within 3-4mm of this loupe to see a thing! It is basically a glorified magnified glass. 30x-60x loupe, who are they fooling? Awful. I am going blind trying to see anything for a prolonged amount of time. The standard is to hold the loupe to your eye, and bring items to about 1" away. I have items that are literally touching the loupe to view and I have 20/20 vision. How anyone who is experienced in looking at jewelry or grading cards rated this over a 1 star, I have no idea. It is not a proper loupe. Do not waste your time, get an old time jeweler's loupe, without the LED's. I would not waste a penny on this item.

I liked this product when i got it. Very light, the light was strong and it actually points at what you are looking at. The big problem was when I tried to clean it. I very gently was wiping the small lens and it fell out. Gone, could not find the parts, so now i have a one sided low power loupe. I treated it very gently as i have used loupes for my work before and have experience with them. So, it did not last very long. I only got it August 29th 2018. Disappointing.
