    • Terrible towels
These towels are not good quality. First of all, it is not 100% bamboo like the add claims. Only 60% bamboo and 35% cotton.. These towels shrunk after wash, look terrible and feel rough. I am shooting them out.

These blue bamboo towels look great and feel even better. The blue color is exactly as pictured and the checkered detail on the ends is really nice. Many of the thicker bamboo products I own seem to hold a lot more moisture than anything cotton – eg, when I take thick bamboo socks or these towels out of the dryer, everything else is dry except for the thicker bamboo items. These towels are great, but I don't **love** them and here's why: I noticed that when I use towels out of the shower, I like to dry using one side then flip it over. The dampness helps my hands to "stick" to the towel so I can more effectively use it when drying other parts of my body, pushing the towel around. That doesn't happen with these bamboo towels because they are more absorbent – when you dry off on one side, it doesn't feel as damp and my hands still slide over the material making it hard to push the towel over the rest of my body. It feels awkward because the towels are so smooth. So it may seem weird, but perhaps these luxurious bamboo towels are just too thick and too absorbent for their own good. These towels are definitely the nicest I've ever owned, I like them a lot and will appreciate their feel and quality, but they're not perfect for me. I got this towel set to replace old ones in the spare bathroom, but decided to have my husband try them out first. He quickly claimed them as his own. After being laundered several times (cool water temperature, medium dryer setting, no softener in either the washer or dryer), they are as soft as the day I got them and a bit more absorbent. My husband particularly likes the generous sizes of the bath and hand towels. I like the cloth hanging strap on each that ensures the towels stay on the hooks when hung up after use. This is a quality towel set. The towels have a good weight to them and I like the color. I chose the blue set. You get 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 4 washcloths. The only con is the price which is a little on the high side for 8 towels. Nice splurge if you can afford it. Hopefully they will wash well. ... show more
