I was pretty skeptical about its quality because of its $30-40 price range, but decided to give it a shot after reading bunch of reviews, hoping for something soft, most importantly, no cranky or swishy noise. Guess what, it turned out great! The fabric feels very soft and there's definitely no annoying crinkly sound. I mean there is some noise but compared to what I had before, this one iss much quieter and softer. I'm very satisfied with the quality, the price, plus meeting my picky standard about the noise. This lightweight duvet insert is soft, puffy, and really comfortable—like sleeping under a cloud. We love how it feels. That said, getting it into the duvet cover was a frustrating, borderline comical experience. After wrestling with it more than once, we gave up and now just use it as a puffy blanket. Honestly? It still works great that way. Cozy and warm but not overly so, I mean, you can use it in the summer months (the evenings are usually cool enough that it won't be too much)—just not worth the fight with the cover! Love the duvet itself, great quality duvet, but I disagree that it's all seasons/cooling. I am a "give me all the blankets" all year round kinda person but ever since I've used this duvet (duvet with bedsheet only, no additional blankets) I wake up sweating and have to ditch it half way through the night. I got it so that I didn't have sleep with all the piles of blankets at night but I roast with the duvet alone. ... show more

I haven’t washed it yet, so it’s a little wrinkly. But I was just so excited after how fluffy it came out of my dryer after 20 minutes that I got right under it and took a nap. Did I say light?
