I recently received this "Bedsure Comforters Queen Size, Down Alternative Comforter for All Season, Soft Prewashed Comforter with 4 Tabs, Lightweight & Warm Bedding- Machine Washable, (Grey, Queen, 88x88 inches)" and I was surprised at how compressed it was inside its box. I did what I always do with bedding - tossed it directly into the laundry for a quick wash to get rid of any lingering factory dust. I was pleased with how fluffy it was when I pulled it out of the dryer. NOTE: I do most of my drying on "LOW" for only about 10-15 minutes and then typically let things air-dry from there. This duvet insert was no different and once it fully dried, it was perfect. The color on this insert is a light gray which is a bit silvery. It's a pretty (and neutral) color on its own, but for those using a white duvet cover, the color *shouldn't* be visible unless the duvet cover is exceptionally thin. I have a fairly thin, white duvet cover that I put on it and you CAN see that the interior insert's color isn't also white, but you do have to look for it to notice. As blankets go, this one feels very lightweight and I haven't had that feeling of "heavy bedding" so far. It also seems to be pretty breathable. It isn't uncommon for me to wake up in the middle of the night feeling hot, or at least warmer than I want to be, and I'm happy to say I haven't had that happen so far. Granted, the weather is cooling off here and we're just now starting to get into that time of year when we WANT a heavier (warmer) comforter, so it may just be opportune timing, but I'm giving the insert the benefit of the doubt. Regardless, I fully expect to use this duvet year-round, or at least until it becomes legitimately hot 24 hours a day here (June-Sept), so even if it does end up being too warm for hotter months, I know it will serve me well for at least 2/3 of the year. The stitching pattern was a little thing I didn't expect when I finally laid out the insert on top of the bed to prep putting on the duvet cover. I am used to the kind of traditional (also: boring) boxy pattern for duvet inserts, but this one has a nice wavy grid - so it's still kind of traditional, but has a twist to it. I doubt this matters to many people really, but I figured I'd mention it in case anybody is looking specifically for a grid of squares. Over all, I'm very pleased with this duvet insert and I'm happy to recommend it to others. It is currently priced at $34.99, which seems like a very reasonable price to me.

This a very nice looking comforter. I'd call this green a soothing color, and its wavy quilting pattern isn't too busy. The stitching holds the filling in place so it doesn't all migrate to one corner of the comforter. Top and bottom are the same so it's reversible. It came vacuum packed, which wrinkled it a bit. The instructions say to fluff it in the dryer to smooth them out, but I didn't bother and it still looks great. One unknown is how durable it will be as the fabric is thin, top and bottom.

I bought the Bedsure king-size comforter for my queen-sized bed. Somewhere along the way – the height of mattresses increased however most quilts, comforters, and quilt covers did not increase in size. The larger king-sized Bedsure comforter looks more aesthetically pleasing with potentially greater warmth due to the lesser chance of cool air entering under the comforter. Remember that most queen mattresses are sixty inches wide and eighty inches long and most standard king mattresses are seventy-six inches wide and eighty inches long. [Of course, California, Alaskan, Texas, and other king sizes are larger than the “standard” king.] Additionally, note that although the king-sized Bedsure comforter is wider than its queen cousin – the length will be the same. Speaking of aesthetics, I got the Bedsure comforter in beige. The beige is a light neutral color – a mix of brown, white, and grayish tan. It is a color that will not offend but neither will it excite. The color will work for me – just do not expect a “pop” of color when you enter the room. The stitching on the comforter is pleasing without yielding a Boho appearance. (Bedsure makes Boho comforters, but this one is not one of them.) Regarding the feel of the Bedsure comforter – it has an exceptionally soft hand. This is the first thing you would notice after the swoosh of air that occurs once you open the vacuum sealed interior packaging. There is also a plush feel derived from the heat retaining fill and the two (top and bottom) insulating layers. The light weight of the materials increases the comfort of the comforter without sacrificing warmth. Overall, this Bedsure comforter offers a serene aesthetic that promotes relaxation and makes me feel grounded and down to earth. The criterion that tips the scale for me to designate this comforter as a five-star item is its value. Beginning with the packaging, this comforter offers substantial value at its price point.
