The blue plastic tools helped, more than anything the one that looks like a guitar pick. The other one broke because of how strong the adhesive is on the beats. Make sure to wipe all excess of glue with alcohol, and it should take you less than 10min to set up. The ear pad replacements are light weight, And just a tad bit different in cushion really you can’t tell the difference and my headphones look new again. Let’s see how long they last!

I followed all the proper steps to make sure that the product would fit properly but the adhesive wasn’t strong enough. Very nice material, ease to replace, it stuck 1 day and the pads fell off.

I’m so happy I found these replacements. It’s unfortunate that Beats still has not addressed the deterioration of the original muffs. But these definitely server the purpose and they look great, and I’m still able to get the same quality of sound from my headphones. I would have preferred these in white with the print pattern, but the black will do. Super easy installation better than expected.

The media could not be loaded. This is the second pair and they last quite a while on the first set. I like the color designs so that when it’s time to replace the ear piece, I can change the color without buying a whole new set of headphones. The Beats Solo 3’s work perfectly fine and had them since 2019. Just get these if the ear piece starts to tear or lose its cushion.
