  • My gray were my favorite so I hadn’t worn them as much
Size: 9 Color: Charcoal
I bought these on November 14th 2017. I bought 3 pair. Gray, hickory, and olive. I have worn either my olive or hickory everyday. My gray were my favorite so I hadn’t worn them as much. It’s raining today and I wondered why my foot felt wet. When I took my boot off there is a huge gaping hole in the sole. Mind you I’ve worn them a total of maaaaybe ten times. Other two are fine. Just checked them both. Only the gray pair. Totally ridiculous for the money you pay. And of course my return window closed on January 21st. I included a photo. *****update***** I contacted Bearpaw and filled out a warranty claim. I will NEVER own anything but Bearpaw from now on. They have, hands down, the best customer service I’ve ever dealt with. They didn’t have my size in the gray Emma boot so they contacted me and told me too pick a pair that were similar and the cost was round about the same price. They’re amazing. ... show more

  • Warm and cozy 😍
I just got these boots yesterday. For the longest time I could not figure out what the big deal was about this type of boot. Before purchasing these I went into the UGG store and tried on a pair of their boots. With UGG and bear paw I really don't know the difference. You're basically paying for one brand over the other. If you are looking for practicality and comfort more than a label, this is the best bang for your buck! I like bear paw because they make half size shoes (I'm 9.5). I love these so much I bought one pair in gray and one in caramel color and both pairs combined are still way cheaper than one pair of UGGS. My first time wearing the gray ones, I wore them for 12 hours straight. They fit perfectly and true to size. I didn't have any discomfort or complaints and my feet were toasty warm all day in very cold weather. I am completely happy with my purchase! ... show more

  • Lasted less then 3 months. Then soles split.
Size: 10 Color: Hickory
These boots lasted less than 3 months for me. I have bought this same pair before and they lasted at a minimum the entire fall/winter. But they have slits for grip on the soles and from standard use, the slits have split all the way into the cushion on the bottom of the boots. There is probably a better tread pattern than this one. Update: I submitted a warranty request through Bearpaw on January 10th, they approved the request on 1/16 and now it is 1/25 and I still have no tracking number like it has shipped yet. It may have shipped and I just don't have it yet. But 2 weeks in Ohio winter with no wearable boots is annoying. I don't buy lots of extra shoes, I just buy what I need so I didn't have a backup expect heavy snow boots. I feel like I should have just bought another pair and wrote these off instead of getting the warranty request. ... show more

Bought these for my wife as an x-mas gift. fit was a bit tight in the shaft but stretched out after a few days. After 16 days they tore along the seam on the top of the boot...we put a white piece of paper in them to show the size of the tear they were worn very little not enough to tear so easy. the quality seemed well enough they seemed sturdy up to that point, also I might point out that it was an odd place for them to tear considering you pull them on it seems as though they would have ripped from the back. Amazon was wonderful as always made the return easy and issued a refund as soon as they received the item. ... show more

  • Unexpectedly Perfect
I usually wear a 7.5 in shoes and an 8 in boots. I ordered an 8 in Mushroom, which is a light dove gray. I tried the boots on without socks and the fit is comfortable. I can imagine wearing socks, but the fluffy shearling inside fills in nicely. It's a very cozy feel, and yet not a sweaty warmth. I am pleasantly surprised. I was willing to give them a try and send them back for the more expensive brand if I didn't like the BearPaw version. I really can't imagine that the other brand has any more value to offer. I love the soft pretty gray color too, neutral enough to wear with almost anything. I also have bought BearPaw hiking boots this Spring and found them to be a superior product (they replaced a nearly non-destructible pair of HiTeks I had used for over a decade.) I will buy BearPaw designs again. Good price and great quality. ... show more

  • Perfect!
Size: 10 Color: Hickory
I always have a pair of these come winter! When I was 13 or 14 I would always buy a size up and be surprised when I got holes in the bottom of them four months later. This is because over time the fur on the inside of the boot wears down over time and the boot would slide off my heel a little and scrape the floor when I walked. That being said, buy the size you would typically buy, if it is snug that is good! Since I stayed true to my size these boots have lasted more than one cold season. Comfortable, cute, and go with any pant. Love, love, love them! ... show more

  • Great, Don't Stress Over Upsizing
Size: 9 Color: Hickory
Super Cute! I wear an 8 or an 8.5 USA, in general. I bought the 9 in case I want to wear socks with them. I understand that they typically stretch after wearing and I have not worn them 'officially' yet. If they stretch out with wearing, it may be necessary to wear even just small 'peds' or as they are also called, training socks, invisible socks, etc. I really like not wearing socks at all,so this is a little bit of a bummer, but not a deal-breaker. I would really go with the larger of your *typical* size range and *not* go up in a size. In my case 8.5 is the larger of my sizes (8 or 8.5) and 9 probably is not needed, but will work, but may mean working with different sick thicknesses. Oh, and I have WIDE feet which is the main reason for needing 8.5. These seem plenty wide and an 8.5 would have covered this. ... show more
