I love these boots so far….just received these in Size 8. I returned the size 7 boots because I normally wear 6-1/2 shoes, so I always size up in boots to allow for socks. However, even the Size 7 was a bit too short & tight for me. First of all, there’s no zipper to allow extra room in putting on/taking off the boot. There is a buckle on the outside which you can loosen but, frankly, I still had to fight to get my 6-1/2 foot down into the Size 7. I eventually did, but found then that my toes were extremely close to the end of the boot inside and I was not wearing heavy socks at the time I tried them on. I didn’t think just a 1/2 size more in length would be enough so when I reordered I went up to a Size 8. Yes, I do love the look and durability so much I still wanted them. Going up 1-1/2 sizes for me works perfectly! I was able to comfortably insert my foot down into the boot (didn’t even need to open the side buckle…) and the length is perfect!! They are not too long, either. Very comfortable and look great. By the way, I ordered these in both Black and the Tan colors so when the Size 7 Tan arrives I’ll immediately return them for a refund, too, because I have a Size 8 Tan already on the way. These have Free Returns and the process is easy… I just printed out the return label, affixed it to the original box & dropped it off at a local UPS drop off site, getting a receipt. I got my Refund Confirmation email the very next day. >>> Update: Just received the Hickory/Tan size 8 and I’M IN LOVE! The Hickory color, to me, is even more beautiful than the Black, if that’s possible! Wow! With these I think I’m done for a lifetime because they’re well made, sturdy and stylish for this 73 year old lady! Absolutely love both the Black and Hickory colors and can wear them with any outfit! My recommendations are: (1). Size Up and (2). Get in more than one color! You won’t regret it!

I have owned a lot of boots in my lifetime & these are the most comfortable pieces of bliss I have ever experienced ever. I can’t emphasize the friggin comfort enough. I feel like I’m walking on a fuzzy cloud. I had no idea my feet needed WAY more support. So much support!!!! So friggin cute!!! I’m a size 9. Got a size 9. It was a little snug at first but fits perfectly now that I’ve worn it for a week. If you want to wear thick socks (which in my opinion are unnecessary because they’re extremely warm & comfy with regular socks so what’s the point of thick socks) then you should absolutely go up a half size.

I adore and live in these boots. The angle cut with the added fur trim sets these boots off, a really sassy look. I also bought a 2nd pair of BEARPAW's in the same color, but just the plain boot, for wearing around the house and for gardening and watering. I did this because I didn't want my Sheilah boots to get beat-up and ratty looking. But the Sheilah is my "being seen - on the street" boot". They are warm and extremely comfortable. I agree with another reviewer who said it was like wearing her slippers in the snow. I'm a size 6, sometimes I wear them with socks, sometimes I don't. I've not had any problem with the size 6's I ordered. If people want to pay up for UGGS, that they're choice but these work for me and I hope they never discontinue the Sheilah boot.

Love the black boots. Ordered 2 pairs in different sizes, 9 and 9.5, based on other reviews saying they run small. I am usually a 9 but can get away with 8.5 occasionally. The 9 fit perfect and was actually black, as ordered. The 9.5 was too big, slightly taller, and the fur was more gray than black. Supposed to be the same boot. Glad the one that fit was the one that I wanted. Very warm and comfy!

I ordered a half size up as I wear 2 socks during the winter. I just moved back to cold country, from the hot Texas, and needed super warm! I like the boot. But I will say the top portion is way too big around!! I ordered a 9.5. There is a fake leather tie looking decor on the top portion which would have been nice if it could really be used to let out or take in depending on anyone's calf size. Twice, snow fell into the top portion as I was removing snow off my truck. Otherwise, very nice looking, comfortable and warm boot!!! Re waterproof, it seemed fine! :)

These boots are fantastic!!!! I love them!!! Beautiful, comfortable and not too wide for a size 13 either. They are slightly defective though. The embellishments are not symmetrical; one of the buckles is too long and doesn't lay right, and the fur trim is not exactly symmetrical, but I don't care. I'm happy with them for the price. They seem like, if perfect, they would be a lot more expensive. It's not enough of a difference for me to worry about.

This is my 2nd pair of Bearpaw boots. My first pair lasted me 7 years. I didn't even NEED to replace them as they are still wearable and very much in tact 100% however, they are old and look it, so I figured it was time. Im not throwing them out though. Those will be my "taking my dog out to play" boots :) These new ones are FABULOUS! They fit perfectly. I wear an 8 wide, ordered a size 8 and they are super comfy and warm. I will only buy Bearpaw as they are great quality and affordable. I also own Bearpaw hiking shoes that are about 7 years old as well and still function perfectly. I will never buy another brand of footwear as every pair of Bearpaws I've owned has lasted years!!!

I have tried them on and walked around the house, they are extremely comfortable and I love the style. These replaced a boot I bought a very long time ago that were not a known brand. I wanted the same look, and these were even better being black and gray vs a white trim. They are true to size. I plan to wear them with leggings and skinny jeans this winter. I have had Bear Paw products and found them to be awesome. Would highly recommend!
