Description

A premium quality adhesives formulated specifically to secure gems and rhinestones. One of the only adhesives that is suitable for applying mirror backed stones as the glue won?t warp or alter the appearance of gems or rhinestones. Helpful Hints To Increase Product Effectiveness: Requires only a small amount to really hold; position item gently and do not press hard to prevent oozing or soaking through. Gem-Tac's unique formula actually gets STRONGER when exposed to heat from the dryer. To Remove: When wet, Gem-Tac can be removed with water When dry, Gem-Tac can be removed by dry cleaning

Best of all it doesn’t smell bad and my fingertips are not irritated like the E6000. When gluing rhinestones, especially tiny ones, I put this glue into syringes (1ml-10ml) with blunt nose needles. Makes gluing them so much easier, quicker, and uses less glue! I also use syringes with E6000. The media could not be loaded. This glue is awesome. Dries quick and is very strong. I just wish the hole was smaller for a pin drop of glue that way I don’t have to do a lot of wiping. Great adhesive and will be my brand to use from now on.

I have been wanting to try this even though I mainly use E6000. I’m using this with glitter on fabric and I think using E6000 would have been a nightmare to use what I was creating with the glitter. Turns out that this is a wonderful adhesive and I will be experimenting with it to see what works and what doesn’t. My project came out very nicely. It holds the glitter I used perfectly and did not diffuse the colors at all. It cleaned up very easily and I am very pleased with it. So, I now know when to use hot glue, E6000, regular Elmer’s glue, Mod Podge, and now Gem Tac to tackle any project I’m working on. Needless to say, I have glue everywhere!! :) and a little of this stuff does go a long way!! I love it! And I really do highly recommend it. ... show more

I had done my research and came across this product. I was eager to use. The package arrived in good condition the first time - opened product - what I experienced was a chalky, useless mess of separated water and white clumps. No amount of stirring would make it normal. I requested a replacement, leaving it up to just a bad batch. Today I received the second one - same garbage. Really disappointed - wasted my time. See pictures/ Even tried to warm it up, still a clumpy, useless mess. Could have purchased and used another brand instead. Very frustrating when you have a lot to take care of. ... show more

Bought this to assist with restoning my AEW World Heavyweight Championship belt with Swarovski Crystals instead of those cheap, crappy normal stones those replica belts ship with. Loved doing it so much I have started doing ALL my belts. Only complaints: 1. I somehow misplaced my first bottle...like it’s gone, so I have no idea where the heck it went! 2. While it does dry clear when it is on a Swarovski Crystal it kinda makes it look muddy/cloudy looking. Can you make it dry actually more clear by tweaking the formula? That’d be great! I just ordered another bottle and it’ll be here in a couple days. But I still have like 90% of my bottle I’ve been using which I didn’t realize until after I’d ordered this now 3rd bottle. ... show more

I purchased a few gem glues hoping to find one that hit the mark and here's what I found - The first was Aleene's Jewel-it. Dried clear but stones fell off almost immediately. Second was this GemTac. It also dried clear and it held better than Aleene's but still some stones fell off with a little time and wear. Third was the E6000. It dried clear as well and it performed the best. Those stones are going nowhere. On the negative side though it was extremely messy to work with. So in conclusion, I would recommend the GemTac for everyday crafting but if it's an important project or for embellishing clothing that you will be wearing frequently you may want to go with something stronger. ... show more
