I have owned a few different brand PSU's over the last 20 or so years and always tended to go with Seasonic for there longevity. My last one went strong for about 8 years before starting to lose 5v stability recently. So I figured I would just go Seasonic again but decided to do a little shopping around first. I had always heard good things about be quiet CPU heatsinks and fans being very reliable and super quiet but had never owned anything from them. So after watching some reviews and reading a bunch about them I decided to give one a go. I have a Praxis Wetbench (PC test bench) that has nothing to block any fan noise which is always a challenge when dealing with a test bench config. I have my system filly liquid cooled and some very quiet fans on my radiator but my Seasonic PSU was always the loudest part of my setup. To the point where when at full load benchmarking or gaming it would sound like a hair dryer and was always a bit annoying. Over the years I guess I just got used to it and debt with it. But with this be queit let me tell you.. THIS THING IS NEAR SILENT! Even when pushing it pretty hard it never gets louder them my radiator fans and they are very quiet. I cannot put into words how peaceful my office is now. Its wonderful! I cannot speak to be quiet's longevity but I can definitely say its by far, the quietest PSU I have ever used and the build quality seems very good. Also come with very pliable sleeved cables. Much better then the flat black one you get with Corsair, Thermaltake, Coolermaster and multitude of other brands. Hoping for many years of use. Love it so far! ... show more

Came well packaged and has every possible cable you would need for power. Fully modular so you only plug in and use the cables you need. Super quiet, I can't even hear the thing, but typically you wouldn't hear the PSU fan anyways with case fans overpowering audible levels typically. I have this paired with a be quiet! case as well so the whole unit is mostly silent. Easy to install as well. To Amazon: Ship this thing in a well packed box next time. This was shipped standalone by itself (in it's own product box) and was beat up pretty bad during shipping. Luckily be quiet! packed this thing super good so nothing was damaged. This is the first time I've been shipped expensive electronics standalone! Do not do this! ... show more

My specs are: Ryzen 7 5800x CPU, Radeon RX 6800XT GPU, 3733CL16 2x8GB RAM, all of them are overclocked. Before, I had a Aresgame 750W 80 Plus Bronze PSU. While gaming or benchmarking in 3DMark, that Aresgame PSU fan was the loudest component in the system not just the fan but it caused excessive coil whine for my GPU. Since I replaced it with this Bequiet 750w Platinum PSU, you CANNOT hear it even while pulling 500 watts from the wall. The coil whine issue from my GPU is also gone. The AC in room is louder than my PC now. I highly recommend it if you want a very quiet and efficient power supply. ... show more

This thing is stupid quiet. Just got it installed and I literally cannot when my desktop is on or off lol I had to replace an old one that came with a brand new rig purchased last year. Great power supply, quiet, doesn't make noise when under load (heavy gaming), looks like it's built with quality. I'd say it's worth the money, at least based on my experience so far. I have an issue with its cables (see photo) -- they are all really long and firm, which might be a plus for some people, but particularly the GPU cables are causing problems for me: the 8-pin that goes into the graphics card supplemental power socket is very firm it goes at 0 degree angle w.r.t. the card which makes the cable stick out way past the left-side case wall border of the case and I can't bend the cable to fit. I don't usually close that wall, but even now I'm worried about pushing the case too hard against the desk and damaging my graphics card (imagine the lever against the PCI-e port, especially given how heavy the cards are by themselves...). Anyway, would be nice to engineer and include some sort of 90-deg plug option -- I can't even find one on Amazon so far.. ... show more
