I ordered this product expecting quality from the BCBG family, and I was not disappointed. The cut of this garment is truly incredible. It lays beautifully on the body in a way that is modern and flattering. I was surprised to find that the small shoulder pads looked beautiful on me. I am petite and shoulder pads have never once in my life fit well or been appropriately sized, but you would never know these were there. Instead, they help give the garment a beautiful proportion. the unembellished Simplicity of this jacket makes it versatile. I can see this being a staple wardrobe piece that last for many years. the lining is beautiful and the stitching is well done. This garment didn't earn five stars only because a garment that is one piece and almost $120 should really hit close to perfection. While the cut is stunning, I'm not in love with the fabric, which seems less high-end then this style and lining would indicate. In addition, the pockets are false. I'm sure that this was done to keep clean lines on the garment, but it is frustrating in women's clothing to have no pockets. If you feel like splurging on a well-made wardrobe staple, I would encourage you to try this tuxedo jacket. A jacket that makes you feel this beautiful may be well worth the money. The liner was not correct on the back of the jacket and the hem line was not crisp. The inside hem sagged and stuck out below where the true hem line was.
