Based on the reviews I'd read, I wasn't expecting much in the way of a replica car. The exterior, undercarriage, and wheels have a fantastic attention to detail. So does the engine. The interior of the car itself, though, wasn't that detailed. The durability really leaves something to be desired. The plastic stretch-band they used to hold the engine compartment shut had the rear wheels bent to the top of the rear well. To their credit, they did fall back into place upon removing the band. The steering wheel and console inside are only half-detailed, in that they look amazing from above, but not the side with the door open. The cockpit around the chairs is sparse and unfinished, even though the seats look fantastic. I'd like to add a note about the paint finish. The Reventon's paint job was a one-off job from Lamborghini, never used before or since. It was a matte, stealth fighter grey they chose to emphasize its fighter-jet origins. The model nails the paint job dead-on with a cold metal feel. If you're expecting a glossy finish, get a Murcielago or Aventador model, as this model is intended to have a matte finish like the original car. I recently purchased an Audi R8, Lamborghini Diablo SV, and Camaro SS "Police Edition" from Maistro's 1:18 'Special Edition' line for 13 USD at a Sam's Club. They do manage to out-do the Bburago model in every way. Even the normal 1:18 line from Maistro has a better durability and interior (the exterior detail and engine detail fall short on these in comparison to the Bburago) than this one does. However, Maistro does not have a Lamborghini Reventon offering in 1:18 or 1:24, only a remote control 1:24. All in all, it will look nice on the shelf next to my 1:18 Gallardo and Diablo. If you're displaying this on the shelf, I recommend having the engine compartment open for looks, but keep the doors shut. ... show more

  • Another Fun Lamb
Our 8 year absolutely loves cars. The faster and more exotic the more he loves them. Lamborghini's are his favorite and this Revention is probably his favorite among all the Lambo's. Please understand that we bought this for him to play with not just put on a shelf and look at. He takes good care of his stuff, but he is still 8, some it gets some rough handling. So fare it has stood up to the test very well and he has an absolute blast with it. The interior detail is at a much higher level that a Matchbox or Hot Wheels car as would be expected for something that is larger (duh, right?). This increased level of detail sparks his interest in how the car is put together, how the engine works, why the engine is in the back, etc. This leads him to read and research the car more and in turn sparks more questions, like why couldn't they do this (whatever "this" is) instead. This in turn leads to more research and reading and more imagination. Never a bad thing at all. So all in all, very satisfied with the car. I can't speak to the accuracy, detail, etc as a display model, but as a way to spark an 8 year old's mind, I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Really good model
I have a pretty good sized die-cast collection of 1/18 die-casts (35 models). And I'll have to say, this $30 model rivals that of my $70 models. Usually, with $30 die-casts, there are lots of rough edges on the mold and mediocre paint jobs. This model has essentially no rough edges. The lines are really smooth and clean - as if they hired someone to take a very fine sandpaper and smooth out the final mold by hand. And the paint job is stellar - no blemishes or imperfections like some of my $70 models. The model is rock solid with no creaking when playing the moving parts. BBurago has gone a long ways since they've released their Lamrboghini Countach and Diablo models. Maisto doesn't even come close - the notion by most collectors is that Maisto is better than BBurago. But this BBurago Revnenton puts all of my Maisto models to shame. If you've read professional reviews, the wheels on the BBurago Revneton is more accurate to the real thing than the $100 AutoArt Reventon models! I highly recommend this model. As a collector, had BBurago asked $50 for the model instead of $30, I still would've gladly paid $50. ... show more

  • Lamborghini reventon It's not 1/18, it's smaller
The media could not be loaded. the size does not correspond to 1/18 scale, it is smaller, disappointed with the product

  • A little smaller than expected
I like the car. Its a little smaller than I thought it would be. Cars I have of the same scale are a little bigger than this. I have a 1/18 scale BMW z8 that is taller wider and longer than this car and I know that there is no way that can be possible. Workmanship is descent I only use it for display so I don't know how well it functions as a toy. ... show more

great model car...i love it and my son was over the moon and then some when he got this car. he was smiling from ear to ear for hours! this is a rare lamborghini, only 200 made to date, more on the way but i'm sure not too many more will be made. cost is 1.5 million euros! my son watches a YouTube video on this car racing an Italian "Tornado" fighter jet in Italy, on a military air strip. the car won. need to say more? ... show more
