I've been looking at Turkish towels for a while now. I didn't know what I wanted it for, but they just look so nice! I decided to purchase this one in grey and it's been one of my favorite recent purchases. I actually haven't used it as a towel yet. I've been using it as a shaw around the house when it's been quite cold. When I'm not using it I drape it on the couch for a bit of décor. I've also worn it outside as a really full scarf. It's perfect to wear out to a coffee shop because I wear it as a scarf and then if I get cold (as there always seems to be air conditioning running even in winter) I use it as blanket to keep my legs warm. I didn't expect to love this so much, but I'm finding it really useful. I like the neutral color, it's quite warm, and has a great heavy, quality feel to it. It wasn't quite as described, it says absorbent and soft. It isn't really soft and I've washed it multi times trying to soften it up, which it states soften with every wash - not yet! It doesn't dry you off well at all so don't know where the absorbency comes into play. Definitely not a replacement for bath towels which was what I was looking for, the positive is they do dry more quickly then the terry towels but I'll be going back to my regular bath towels unfortunately. Hoping I can repurpose this into a pool or lake towel in the summer! They are nice size and seem well made but just didn't fit my needs or description in my personal opinion! ... show more

I do not know what the other reviews are talking about. This thing is a pilling, shedding mess. I bought the black diamond pattern. I'm only a few washes in, and already there's little fabric pills forming and when I dry off with it my skin is covered in tiny black threads that feel like grit when I rub them off. I had to take a second shower yesterday to wash the fabric off. Now, it does look really nice, and if I wanted to use this maybe as a blanket for sitting on the grass or something it would be great. But as a bath towel, no. I have several turkish towels already, from other companies, so I know that it's not somehow my washer or dryer causing the problem. ... show more

LOVE this towel! Only washed it once, so it left some lint after my shower and it wasn't extremely soft...but the size and color are amazing and it's almost dry already (after only 2 hrs). I'm planning on using it as a bath towel...most of the time, but I can see it making its way to the living room as a throw or shrug or even in the summer at the pool. Very pleased with this product and from the other reviews, I think it will only get better! Definitely ordering more!! ... show more

I recently bought a number of these towels, in a few of the different designs offered by this company, for myself and as gifts and have been very impressed. I received the products quickly and threw them through the wash as I heard that helps with increasing the softness and absorbency. So far they are absorbent and soft after only one wash and I'm sure they will get better with additional washes. I also love the design and natural thread coloring on the products as it looks very natural. I'm excited to bring these on my next vacation to use as a beach blanket rather than the much bulkier heavier towels I usually travel with.
