Very poor quality costume. It does not look like the picture shown. the colors are not as bright and the single vest-shirt-tie piece looks as if painted in pale watercolor, and not a single piece is satiny or shiny as shown in the picture (the vest is more of a drab olive gray,the jacket is a flimsy drab purple). The mask is cheap (not too upset about that, we were going with facepaint anyway). More importantly, the costume DID NOT come with the pants as stated on both the webesite and the package itself. It's too close to halloween to have it sent back (They took 6 days to ship the item after I bought it, another 4 days to be delivered). I would not recommend this costume to anyone, dont waste your money. I feel hoodwinked, bamboozled, led astray, plymouth rock landed on me! ... show more

I bought the costume so that my 15 year old daughter could be the Joker. We only needed the purple jacket since she was doing her hair and face with paint and we had a green vest. The material is thin, but looked great. The mask would not be wearable as it was folded and creased in half. Even if it was wearable I do not think it would be comfortable. I threw it in the trash as soon as it came. Price was right for the jacket though. I would give the jacket 5 stars and the mask 1 star. ... show more

    • Got this exclusively for the long purple coat.

And it's actually pretty good! However if your buying this as a costume it's very cheap and it shows, the mask is weak, the so called included "Pants" is no-where to be found, and the overall quality is weak. However i only cared for the long purple coat thing, to wear casually (yes casually!) since i have an extremely hard time finding a long coat thats "Purple" in color, for guys.... i was looking for any shade of purple but there are almost NONE out there, even here on amazons massive variety list. So this will do for now, until i can get a tailor to custom make me a long coat out of cotton/poly in purple. Soooo... Purple Coat: 4/5 - Looks great, but has a strange button like thing in the back that should be in place of a hood. As a Costume: 0/5 - I would not recommend this gear to anyone actually wanting to get a joker costume for a cos-play party or what ever event. ... show more

Good product for the money. Mask was crap, but I just painted my face. If you are looking to do the same, then this costume is a good buy.

The other reviews are true so definitely read through a few of them to make sure you know what you are getting. Unlike the picture, you only get the mask, jacket and "vest" but if you read carefully, the page does disclose this. The mask is made of plastic and looks like the picture. I found the eye holes a little small so i cut bigger holes with a scissor without much trouble. The jacket is made of pretty thin polyester and held together in a flimsy way. The vest and shirt is printed on a rubby material attached to the front of the jacket. It looks as pictured but duller in color. So its not a shirt or a real vest. Overall it hangs a bit floppy and the cloth straps that hold it in place, ripped off about halfway through the day. So why did i still buy it? Its still a joker outfit and it was very hard to find a purple jacket and general outfit that looked like the joker. The price on amazon was cheaper than local party stores so if you are willing to spend $25 bucks to get something that looks like the joker, you don't much many options. As long as you know what you are getting and its worth that to look like the joker, it was acceptable. I don't think it would survive a wash but i suppose you could hand wash it. ... show more

Best costume for the price....it's all One piece and it fit just as expected! Not to big not to small...I didn't like the mask tho but I expected that from reading others reviews...but honestly for the price it was GREAT! Obviously It's not hot topics joker costume that's over $100 cus all the pieces are separate but it's perfect for once a year type of costume! Overall my husband says it was comfortable easy to move in and not thick and heavy. So yea we were really happy with it :) ... show more
