My sons both wanted to shave when they saw daddy doing it. They thought it was so cool. My husband always gave them a razor with the blade removed. They didn't know the difference and only cared that they were replicating something that they thought was the coolest thing ever! In this set, you get everything you need to "shave" - toy razor, shaving brush, shaving cream, and mirror. The shaving cream is labeled as a body wash so it can be used in the shower or bath, too. It lathers up nicely with the brush (even though we found it easier to just use your hands) and is removed easily with the razor. I don't think it lathers up as rich and creamy as it shows in the product photos but there is still plenty of lather to "shave" with. The body wash has a sweet fruity scent that is quite pleasant! This would make a cute stocking stuffer for any little Batman fan! ... show more

This is such a fun little pretend shaving set. The Batman design is sure to appeal to a lot of little boys. My nephew is coming to visit for Thanksgiving next week, and I can’t wait for him to try this set out. There is a pretend shaving razor, body wash “shaving cream”, shaving brush, and even a fun little mirror. The body wash can lather up pretty well to be used on the face as shaving cream. The plastic razor is pretty gentle on the skin, so no big worries there. I think the whole set is loads of fun, and it’s a nice introductory training experience for later life as well. ... show more
