  • Very useful!
This is a very nice chart, it's big and easy to read. But just be aware that it is paper thin so if you want to use it on your music rest you will need to put some kind of backing on it like cardboard or heavy poster paper, which isn't a big deal. Cut a piece of cardboard to size and use a few clips to mount it. ... show more

  • Principiante
Puede ser bueno pero está en el sistema Americano, casi todos aprendemos en el sistema numérico o sea el sistema convencional,el sistema de letras es solo en EEUU,por esa razón no nos es útil.

  • Demonstrates accidentals well
I love that this chart is very large and thick. The chords are demonstrated well and easy to read. My favorite part is the accidentals. All of the natural white keys show the note highlighted, but the accidental keys show the key highlighted plus have the name and the note written above. For example, a chord contains a C# and the C# appears above the key so the kids can visually see the # sign which helps them connect it to the music. And, if the chord is different and uses a D flat (can you believe my computer won't let me enter the flat sign in this review????) it highlights the same key as the C# of course, but D flat is written above. I think these understandings between keys, minors, flats and sharps, are essential to understanding music. The only thing I'd wish this had is an extended version where there's a small staff that shows the key signature and notes for each chord, or even the arpegio. This would connect the final dot between the piano key, key signature, chord, and what it looks like on the staff. But this chart doesn't claim to do that so this review isn't marked down for it. ... show more

  • Inaccurate junk.
This is not useful for anyone trying to learn music theory. It labels SEVERAL note names completely wrong. The fourth degree of F major is supposed to be written as B flat, NOT A sharp! Several chords are spelled incorrectly in their given key signatures, something that will throw off any beginning keyboardist. This chart was clearly written by people who know nothing about music theory and who are capitalizing on the fact that their customers don't, either. ... show more

  • Great For Newbies
I'm a singer and, while I can read music and know the keys on the piano, I don't know chords. I had some basic organ lessons in my youth a century ago and I've decided to take lessons so I can play around with tunes and have a better understanding or chord progressions to improve my songwriting and performance. I ordered this Piano Chord Chart Poster as a visual aid I can easily use with practice. It's easy to read and understand with color-coded key samples, numbered key references and more. I'll clip it to a music stand then I can roll it up when I'm finished, then it easily stores back in the tube in which it arrived. It also came with 10 sticky dots for mounting, if desired. Included also is an anti-moisture gel pack which I'll continue to use, then replace when necessary to ensure the poster stays dry when it's humid. My studio's in the basement and I may use it to practice on the smaller keyboard outside during warm weather. I didn't rate the durability because I just received it but the material on which it's printed seems virtually tear-proof and likely to hold up for a very long time. ... show more

  • It comes handy to have this posted as a refererence.
My daughter have been taking piano lessons for a while. So I used that as an excuse to get this chart, and a few others (actually, it was for my own benefit 😉 ). Most of my life I have played a keyboard by ear and memory of songs, however never gave a thought about accompanying chords (mostly used preset rhythms). While there are quite a few musicians in my family, I only try playing music as a hobby for relaxation. When I came across multiple charts like these, I could not contain my curiosity about learning and even got other charts for other instruments. It comes in handy to help my 3 younger kids if they keep having interest in music. The chart comes laminated in a tube. Word of advice, do not roll it and put it back in the roll without a tape or rubber band, it will be extremely difficult to take out. ... show more

  • Very Beginner-Friendly
I chose this chord chart alongside another one (that review is here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NLYMNTV), and this is the one I'll be keeping. Here's why. To begin with, both charts are made by the same company. The quality of both is excellent. While this is the smaller of the two, and has less information (as you can tell from the attached photo and the one accompanying the product itself, it doesn't have the circle of fifths, musical terminology, grand staff, et cetera), it's a bit more beginner-friendly, covering the basics (major and minor chords, a bit of Roman numeral notation) and not much else. Another major plus: I found this chart to be far easier to read than the other, which is no small consideration when your keyboard/piano can't be inches from the chart. The only drawback -- a minor one -- is that there's no staff notation, which would've been nice to have. Still, as a quick, at-a-glance reference, it's worth having if you are, or happen to know, a beginning pianist. ... show more
