My son and teenaged grandson are basketball fanatics and basketball card collectors. Basketball was not my sport, but I always loved watching my son play in school, and now my grandson is turning into a good player. Since they are into basketball cards, I ordered this Kruk collection to try having more to share with them and their passion. When they saw this collection, they got excited and tried to trade with me, which I refused. I did let them take some of them to a sports card collectors function last week. To my surprise they reported when they returned them that the experts found some of them had real value. The cards were in good condition, and according to my son they were very well curated. I liked the combination of the collection between used cards and the excitement of opening sealed packs, even though they lack the bubblegum that came with my baseball cards in the 50's. Upon the counsel of my son and grandson, I would recommend this collection.

This Basketball mystery card collectors' box is a great value for what you can get in the box. Mine came with a graded Jordan card in PSA 8, which is worth around $18 to $20 at the current market value. So, with that card alone, I've already made the value of this box set. You do get a variety of everything listed which is nice. My one grip is that it's packaged subpar. Everything is packed in the thin box, so if you happen to get anything worth of high value, you risk the cards getting damaged. Other than that, I think you will likely get your money's worth with this Basketball mystery box.

So this was basketball, but there was baseball and I think hockey mixed in too. I did receive a relic/uniform card which was estimated online to be worth about $10-12. I received two other cards worth about $3-5. So the cards I received were a higher value than what I paid, but of course I'd have to go through selling them and lose commissions. That said, there are still other stacks of cards which are fine all. The card variety was alright, you can tell they have been heavily gone through because I had 5 of the same card all next to each other (and the card was worth pennies). There was an old, old pack which was fun to open, although nothing good in there. There were also a lot of special cards, either shapes or not, which were fun to look at and share with the kids. Overall, I don't think you'll find a real home run here because the high value stuff is picked through, but you won't lose money either, and there is a good amount of fun or unique cards that young kids will LOVE.

I left a longer review of this, but it did not get uploaded for some reason. Anyhow, this box is awesome. For less than the price of a current Prizm hanger pack, you are getting a super fun box with some cool retro packs to open. Will you pull thousands of dollars of cards from this? No. Will you have fun opening up some cool stuff with your kids? Absolutely! Buy a few of these, you will not be disappointed.

I’ll start this review by saying there is a very limited number of athletes whose names and likeness I am familiar with. __The set I chose is Basketball Cards in a set of 100 cards. I was surprised by the number of cards showing players I actually knew! SMILES However, my three GRANDsons found many that made a “WoW” reaction. So, that fact in itself made this set a good choice and a very good value. IMO __Every card was in great shape without dings or faults. In addition to the loose cards which are not in a sealed package, there were sealed packages that allowed the thrill of opening brand new never before seen cards. That is exciting. __Of course every set will include a different compilation so the cards I get won’t be the same as the next person receives __I am including several pics of the cards in the set I got where You’ll see several very l known players BOTTOM LINE: I am thrilled with the variety and quality of these cards and would absolutely choose them again

This little box of cards brought back memories. Memories of my childhood of when I got my first box of cards as a child. The joy of discovering what treasures might be waiting for me... The pack I received in this order wasn't going to be filled with any treasures or rare cards. All I was hoping for were some familiar names I grew up with and maybe one or two cards that stuck out a little. Most cards were loose, while a number of them were already in sleeves. There was a signed card, a material card, and a superstar card. None of which were from a popular name, and if they were, they were from an irrelevant cart type. The two unopened packs were what I was looking forward to the most. And it had probably my favorite card. Dennis Rodman! Over half the back however, were just filled with stickers, a number of college player cards and mostly 10 cent whatevers thrown in there. All in all, a fun first pack for someone looking to getting into just learning the ropes of collecting, or for an old timer to relive some old memories.
