  • Awesome set for the price!!
I have a kid who loves to collect basketball cards and over the years I have bought him several different packs. This is BY FAR the best set he’s ever had. Obviously every set will be slightly different, but this pack had it all!! Not only Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, John Stockton cards, but Jason Tatum, Jimmy Butler, SGA, etc also! There were probably 25 cards of players neither of us had heard of, but when you have a giant set, 150 cards or so, there were PLENTY of great cards. I was also impressed with the lack of duplication, there were some, but not a lot. Bottom line, for $15 we have never bought a better set of cards ever! My kid loves them and it was fun to go through them together. ... show more

  • Fun basketball card pack that brings back nostalgia and is a great value!
When I saw this basketball card pack I thought it would be something fun to open with my kids and would probably contain junk cards. I am happy to say there were some very nice cards in this pack and it was great to see my kids eyes light up when finding an autograph, relic, or numbered card. The fun part for me was the unopened packs that brought the feeling of nostalgia for me as I remembered opening these packs as a kid. It was also fun seeing my kids go through the packs and not recognizing any of the players only for me to go through the cards and point out some of the greats in the 90's such as Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon. For the price I think this pack is fun and a great value. ... show more

  • Don't expect anything great
Upon opening the boxes, I discovered that the way the cards were packaged caused significant damage to a good portion of the cards. But, as this was a bunch of random cards from various purchased collections and all of the actually valuable cards had been removed prior to packaging, no good cards were damaged in the making of this product. The "big" card I received was, I assume, one of the less sought after Michael Jordan cards that is valued at $2 ungraded and $40 at PSA 10. Half of the cards were in penny sleeves, the other half were not. All the cards were in different conditions from near mint to, very likely, sub-PSA 5. I received 15 Space Jam cards, which are NOT basketball cards and 3 UEFA cards. The UEFA is a European Soccer/Football league, for those who did not know. That means that nearly 20% of the cards I received did not fit into the product description. The only good things about this product is that they ignored a lot of cards that sell for $10+ ungraded (I got 11 cards from a late 90's Topps Chrome set that are all valued between $10-$22 ungraded - too bad they are the most damaged cards in the box), and it appears that they did not tamper with the sealed packs. From the 93-94 Fleer pack I pulled Shaq #149 ($28 for PSA 10) and Chris Webber #292 ($30 for PSA 10) in decent condition, and definitely would have swiped those. If we assume that, despite the damage, all the cards can sell for close to their ungraded value, my box specifically is probably worth $150-$200 without accounting for damage, which is not too bad for a $15 product. ... show more

  • A fun little way to bring back childhood memories. Just don't expect anything truly special.
This little box of cards brought back memories. Memories of my childhood of when I got my first box of cards as a child. The joy of discovering what treasures might be waiting for me... The pack I received in this order wasn't going to be filled with any treasures or rare cards. All I was hoping for were some familiar names I grew up with and maybe one or two cards that stuck out a little. Most cards were loose, while a number of them were already in sleeves. There was a signed card, a material card, and a superstar card. None of which were from a popular name, and if they were, they were from an irrelevant cart type. The two unopened packs were what I was looking forward to the most. And it had probably my favorite card. Dennis Rodman! Over half the back however, were just filled with stickers, a number of college player cards and mostly 10 cent whatevers thrown in there. All in all, a fun first pack for someone looking to getting into just learning the ropes of collecting, or for an old timer to relive some old memories. ... show more

  • One of the best curated bulk set of cards I opened
This set of cards was fantastic. It really put you into a time machine going through all the old and really old basketball players this assortment of cards included. I really enjoyed opening this set and going through each card. I was also pleasantly surprised to find non basketball cards sprinkled into the set. It included a few older baseball cards, a football card, and a hockey card. This set does deliver on its promise of getting at least one super star, lots of rookies, and quite a few hall of fame players. I did get quite a few duplicates on certain cards but overall the assortment and pleasure of finding actually good cards in this set just made this purchase worth every penny. I plan on getting more of these sets for presents for other sports fans. ... show more

  • A mixed bag
As far as value goes this price point is probably good. Always tough to get anything significant when most of the cards are preselected. I received a Jordan in pretty good condition and a Jersey/Auto of a RC no longer playing. The two packs were nice and probably sell for $2-4 each on eBay. The general cards were good players and fun for a fan but not really anyone interested in collecting or grading. All in all not a bad product but don’t expect to pull any top cards. ... show more

  • Amazing assortment of basketball cars
We got an amazing assortment of NBA cards, including three premium cards that were either genuinely autographed, had a team jersey sample, or a holo-foil classic of Michael Jordan in his Chicago Bulls prime. Also included in the pack were over 200 (just a rough estimate) of high-quality cards from various brands, including Skybox, Upper Deck, Donruss, Fleer, and Bowman, among others. Also, there were a couple of unopened sports packs in the mix from the 90s--which was a very interesting era of the NBA. All in all, we are satisfied with the assortment for the value. ... show more
