This fits the Super Bright HD sets (Disney, Hello Kitty, Pokémon, standard HD) though the templates (which come rolled up with a rubber band around them) won't work fit the Super Bright HD sets. The colors don't correlate to the Disney and Hello Kitty sets. The yellow is a lighter yellow than the Disney or Hello Kitty set. This refill comes with orange. Neither set uses orange. But the other colors match. The refill set doesn't have red, which the other two sets I bought have sparingly. The pink is the same. The green is the same. The clear (white) is the same. The blue is the same. (The Disney set has a light blue too; this one is the darker blue.) There are about 60 pieces of each color in this set. ... show more

I am a big collector of the different Lite-Brite designs that have been released over the decades. I have some that were made in the 60's and love them all. The Oval HD is different not only in it's shape but the size of the peg it uses. The peg is half the size or even a third of the size of some of the older models' pegs. I was a little disappointed that the first design I decided to complete I didn't have enough of the correct color pegs. It did come with a lot of pegs but I just fell short of a good 25 pegs to complete it like designed. I just used other colors instead. I know that is part of the "gimmick" with the Lite-Brites...always trying to get you to purchase more refills. I like that the pegs fit nice and tight in the dotted frame. You can actually walk around and turn it upside-down without them falling out. Overall, I am very happy with the new Lite-Brite design. It makes a great addition to my collection. Would like to know where I can buy additional pegs? I have already searched and couldn't find any. ... show more

I bought 4 of these for Christmas gifts but kept one for myself. I remember the pegs being just a tad bit bigger. I had one peg break and one malformed peg, and I ran out of yellow before I finished the pattern. But the light settings on this is very cool and changes the color of the picture. Overall a 3. The pegs were not easy to push through had to push through the holes then my granddaughter put the pegs in. Build did not last long. And the clear setting did not work
