I love these blankets. We have the red and black one that seems a bit heavier and warmer than the navy blue. But I would highly recommend these. Especially the cost. The color on both sides of the comforter are absolutely lovely. The way the description read I thought it would have been thicker than what it was. It is soft, it is cozy, so much so that my roommates cat loves it..lol The other thing besides I would have thought that it was thicker was the fact that I did not see (and I looked carefully) cleaning instructions and when I dried it the second time after washing it, it crinkled up like it had this plastic noise to it when I tried to stretch it out in the upper corner that had crumpled it. I do enjoy it and I will buy another one as a gift but I will give them specific instructions for washing it. I don't regret the buy, but needed more information and want the description to be a little more accurate. Okay I had to edit my review, as I stated I did not see the instructions as I was looking for the tab ON the blanket, well guess what I saw today??? the care instructions ON THE SIDE OF THE BOX! yes I kept the box, I can place other things in there. Anyhoot! It even says the comforter may not be as fluffy as it is shipped in a vacuum packaging along with a list of other things. And I promise I didn't see it until today 2/12/2023. So there are care instructions on the SIDE OF THE BOX...and I had to come back and edit my post. But again please remember I said I DO NOT REGRET THE BUY! But I needed and wanted to correct my error. I was REALLY hoping that this was as bright as the picture and it's damn close! I was also hoping that it wasn't paper thin and it's not! It's not SUPER plush or anything but it also isn't a paper towel either. Definitely lightweight, comes wrapped up like a burrito and will puff up when shook out. My dog jumped up and laid down on it immediately... So I guess that's a good sign? ... show more

I bought this for a single bed. It arrived tightly rolled in shrink wrap inside a surprisingly small box. After removing it from box and the shrink wrap, the first thing I did was wash it (separately in cold water) and dry it (separately with a "Normal" heat setting). It came out beautifully! Lots of loft, wrinkle free, nice quilting, and the fabric of the outer shell has a soft yet really durable feel. For around $45, I don't think you can find a better bedspread. The colors (brick red on one side, grey on the other) are accurate to the pictures on the Amazon listing. In my opinion, the "brick red" skews towards a muted orange color. But that was what I wanted. The comforter came with one matching pillow-sham cover roomy enough to accommodate pretty much any standard-sized bed pillow. This is a high quality comforter and pillow-sham cover set for a price that is more than worth it. ... show more

I don't often leave reviews unless something completely wows me and this comforter set did, it's simple , nothing extravagant but it's a really awesome comforter at the same time. It's warm that kind of warm that you don't need an extra blanket but at the same time you aren't roasting and kicking it off either. The colors are stunning and much better than pictured on Amazon and it is so soft , like your favorite snuggle blanket that you just have to have when you want to feel completely comfortable. I must preface this review with a statement. I went through 3 other comforters before this one. It shouldn't be so hard to find a decent quality product yet here we are. This set checked all of the boxes. I wasn't expecting anything luxurious or opulent and this just works for me. The item is packaged very well. There is no strange textile odor. The color is true to the photograph. The stitching is tight with no loose threads. This is a fine example of a mid-weight comforter. I don't require a very heavy cover at night and I do appreciate a product that breathes. It is heavy enough so it doesn't "travel" while you are asleep. After about 48 hours it had expanded to it's actual loft and thickness. The material is a bit on the thin side so I can't speak to the longevity of the product but at the price if I get even two or three years use I will be happy. It is my opinion that you could purchase this with confidence. ... show more
