It only takes once getting stuck overnight at an airport whether at home or abroad and your electronics running out of juice with no way to charge them to see the benefit of always traveling with a power bank. In fact I often carry it with me on short trips just to be on the safe side. Have no fear about being able to carry this on planes. I've had no problems flying domestic or international with it. It holds a charge for a long time, and charges fairly quickly. I am in school, and I found that I needed to charge my Mac while we were on the go. This always comes in handy. I would say I have used this many times when I can’t get to a wall charger. It always saves the day. You can also charge a phone and the laptop at the same time. I can’t say I’ve ever gotten 100% charge from it, but I also don’t need it to charge all the way. I’ve gotten up to 80% charge, but that was only because I stopped it myself to preserve some battery for my phone to charge as well. It comes in handy because I can use it for both. Very versatile. It tells you how much battery it has left with the digital screen. It charges overnight, and I always try to make sure it’s ready when I need to leave the house. Works great for coffee shops, and even in the car. I have a ten year old and like to take him to the park to get his wiggles out. This is perfect for those days where I need to write and the little one can play. I was worried it wasn’t going to be strong enough, but I have never been disappointed. ... show more

    • Works Great As A Laptop Charger

I bought this to use as a backup charger for a laptop. I also purchased a USB-C to HP-"Blue"-DC plug to complete the package. It works great, better than expected. I discharged the internal laptop battery down to 15% and then plugged in this charger. I used the laptop the entire time for various things, but keeping the screen on constantly and ran some background utilities to ensure the CPU would not drop below 50% the entire time. After 2.5 hours this charger had discharged completely, and my internal battery was charged up to 55%. I typically get around 6 hours of battery life from the internal laptop battery, so this extended that over 75% (with this test I got almost 11 hours out of it). All of that said, there are some limitations that I wish I knew ahead of time. I can't do pass-through charging with this, making it not usable as a UPS. When I have it plugged in to charge, it won't also output enough power to charge the laptop. I haven't done in-depth voltage/output checks to determine why, just the basic plugged it into the wall and plugged the USB-C into the laptop, and the charger wouldn't power the laptop. The other limitation is similar in that I couldn't power the laptop AND use the USB-A chargers at the same time. Again, nothing in depth on why yet, but I assume the output on the USB-C needs all of the juice to achieve the 65w, so any other discharge lowers that enough that the laptop isn't ok with the level of energy provided. Even after knowing both of those issues, I highly recommend this for the price and capabilities. While I certainly would like this to have more capacity, there's always a balance between size/weight and mobility with these things and this strikes a good balance for the price. ... show more

    • Doesn't work after a month and a week. Flashing red zero.

I used it a couple of times and I left it alone for a while with some juice in it. Tried using it again and it wouldn't work after plugging it in various chargers with different cables, including the one it came with. My window for returning it was about a week ago, so I'm sad I spent over 40 Dollars on something I can't use anymore. This sucks. My advice is don't let it go to 5 percent battery for to long or it dies and you'll never be able to use it again. Maybe you can fix it watching some YouTube videos, but this was brand new. I'm too upset to do anything about it, so I'm just going to accept my loss and never buy anything from this company again. Lesson learned. P.S. I bought the "same" battery bank along time ago and that still works. "Same" because it's by the same company, same everything, mostly, but the difference is is that theres Chinese writing on it, and this one has English on the bottom of the battery describing the wattage etc. That one still works after a long time of not using it. I don't know what you did different, but the one with English writing on it, the "newer" version isn't reliable as the "older" version with the Chinese writing. I don't want anybody's help, I just want to let people know be careful when you buy this. If you do and it stops working, don't be surprised. Just take your business elsewhere like I am. I'm just happy I bought it on sale and never payed the full amount. I like the older one I bought with the Chinese words on the bottom of the battery bank, because that one works still. The "Americanized" one seems like it's garbage, because when it comes to America and electronics, it's usually trash because they didn't put any effort into making the device, cutting corners with cost with cheaper materials, and still selling it like it's top notch. Don't be fooled, go somewhere else, or you'll pay the cost for your loss like I did. ... show more
