Couldn't give it a zero star but its terrible. a 7 year did one handed swings off a tee and after about 25 hits it had several dents in it.

This little bat is great for a small kid that can handle something with a little heft to it, as a preview of what it's like to swing a real bat. This doesn't feel like a toy, it's very similar to a real aluminum bat, but downsized. Obviously, you'll want to use your judgment about whether a particular kid can handle this safely, and calls for supervision, especially if other kids are around. Alternatively, as a security tool, it's ideal--stores very easily, it's quick and very maneuverable in the hands and, again, has some heft to it. ... show more

This bat is lightweight aluminum, and it is good for self defense. It is the perfect size to stow in my car or backpack. Mine arrived with some damage. It was scratched on some parts, and there was a visible scratch that seemed as if it was dropped or something. It doesn't seem to have affected the sturdiness of the bat though. The bat has an inscription that says GOAT, which I assume stands for 'greatest of all time'. I am not that conceited, but it's a popular phrase getting thrown around these days. Maybe FAFO would be a better inscription? Just a suggestion. I don't mind it though. It makes the bat more visually appealing. In addition to the damage on the end and body of the bat, I didn't care much for the quality of the grip. It's not terrible, but it could be better. There is a paracord attached at the handle. It is a nice addition and can help with unwanted drops or what have you. I will definitely keep this in my collection of self defense weapons. I think the bat could be used for training kids to play baseball too. It's pretty small and light. The price seems okay. I have no major complaints. I like it for the most part. The damage is a bummer, but at least I know it is sturdy enough. Not a bad pick! ... show more
