The tie is silky, it's a very good length covers from my entire chest to my stomach. I'm 5'9 so it works great. Really love the way it looks with my suit. The thickness of the fabric is sturdy enough and is normal tie thickness I guess. It also comes with some extra accessories which is just awesome honestly would recommend getting this product to anyone and everyone. Great tie for the amount I paid for!!
