The pool table was assembled and leveled, when I tried to play pool I discovered that the table has a 1/2 inch dip in the center of the table, all the balls end up in the middle of the playing service, you can't place the balls on any suface without moving to the center. The good: In general, I wasn't expecting the greatest quality per the type of table. I was pleasantly surprised, however. It looks good and was relatively easy to assemble. The bad: While leveled in all directions, the table had a big dip, so it was unplayable. I don't know if it is the 'slate tech' or simply a bad instance. The ugly: This table is heavy. Hiring movers is costly. My plans to receive, move, and set up fell through. I wasn't able to make arrangements for weeks. It took 4 men to move it. When I finally set it up and found the defect, it was beyond the return date. the manufacturer and Amazon customer service was able to help and I appreciate their understanding.     • Do not buy MD Sports. Pool tables!!!

I purchased a new P.O. MD Sport model BL1000Y22002 pool table. It was deliver and I spent $500 to have it professionally installed. Once installed we realised the main slate board was warped. Not damage on shipping but bad manufacturing. Call manufacturer but they told me they do not warranty the slate portion on the pool table. Amazon took care of me but I lost the $500 installation charge. Do NOT buy the Burlington billiards table or any Burlington table. Shoddy manufacturing. ... show more

This was purchased as a birthday gift for my husband. We are happy with the table! It is very heavy and took 4 people to set it upright after assembly, primarily due to the weight and to protect the legs. Took about 2 1/2 hours to assemble. However, be aware that the carrier did not bring the table inside to the desired location although the “how to prepare for delivery” indicated that it would be brought inside. I did not purchase the professional assembly package and would have if I knew it was needed to get the table brought inside (while in the box). Had I known the carrier would not bring it inside as stated in the information, I would have had adequate people to assist with bringing it inside. You could skateboard on this half pipe slate. Tony Hawk couldn’t handle these slopes. Two time replacement and you still curve balls harder than Angelina Jolie in Wanted.
