More than for the water. I use these for sim racing as the are lightweight and very comfortable. The fit great and can be adjusted with a quick cinch of of the laces, the stretch to fit if needed and are very easy to put on. I wear these around the house if I need to remove myself from racing and they are so comfortable and my feet feel protected. I wouldn’t be walking through any construction sites wearing these, but this is not what they are made for. I do not find my feet over heating wearing these after hours of seat time and I also wear socks. The soles keep my feet from slipping off the pedals which is something I am happy about. So cute & really comfortable, feels like you’re wearing nothing. My foot fits exactly, so if you want a little wiggle room, I suggest sizing up 1 size. Easy to put on & easy to walk in. Love them, will be ordering more colors soon.

I love that it doesn't slip. My issue is their design of the toe area. The thicker plastic rubs too much in that area making it uncomfortable to wear. Even if you cut your toe nails...it doesn't remedy the issue. Bummer. I'm returning this.

I got them for running on the beach but they've ended up my everyday shoe. A bit thicker sole than my other water shoes, which makes them adequate to drive in. I will be buying more.
