  • Worth it
Size: 6.5 Women/5.5 Men Color: Black
Had a pair of more expensive barefoot shoes but they were high tops and stiff. The front of my ankles are sensitive in that way. So I grabbed these, and they're much smaller looking. Size wise, they are the same width though not as tall and appear to be half the size of my hobibear ones. But they're more comfortable. Like I said, these are not stiff like the others. And the mesh is more breathable. On top of that, these are actually non slip. So nonslip, that before id adjusted them, I leaned sideways and stepped out of the shoe, instead of the shoe sliding on the ground. They don't feel or look cheap, but I have concerns for their longevity, especially the mesh and sole connection in the toe area. My feet feel great and I'm satisfied with their look. They do not offer lift or support in any way. I walked through gravel and the rough metal edges of my semi truck catwalk and you feel it but it doesn't hurt. If you're not used to barefoot shoes, wear in small increments. In addition, one reviewer noted that there was nowhere to put the extra lace (just long elastic). But the end piece (not the tightening slider), opens. You can figure out where your ideal fit is, set it, and trim the laces (about 1.5" away from the slider), open the end piece, and put it on the freshly trimmed bit. Then I tuck the end clamp under a crossection of the lace over the tongue. Looks like it was meant to be there, and also no excessive laces hanging about. ... show more

  • Comfortable barefoot shoes with a great fit
Size: 8 Women/7 Men Color: Black Rose
I purchased these Barefoot Shoes Men Women Minimalist Shoes months ago, and they are exactly as described. I really appreciate the wide toe box, which provides a comfortable fit without feeling cramped, even during long walks or workouts. The zero-drop design feels natural and supportive, and the shoes are versatile enough for everything from hiking to gym workouts. They are lightweight, flexible, and allow my feet to move freely while still providing protection. Overall, these shoes are well-made, comfortable, and true to their description. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for minimalist, barefoot-style footwear. ... show more

  • Decent, Low Piced Shoe, Wide Toe Box
Size: 11.5 Women/10.5 Men Color: Grey
Pretty good shoe, very comfortable, solid sole for regular walking surfaces (no drain holes), wide toe box, very reasonable price. Bought a size 10.5 based on euro 43 which is usually a US 9.5-10. Fit fine. I often buy a 44, but wide toe box is wonderful. This is my first shoe with elastic laces. Shoes are easy to take on and off without retying. The soles have good traction, but tend to squeek on solid surfaces. Good choice of colors, not bad looking. Overall, I can recommend this shoe. ... show more

  • Perfect. You just can't ask for more from a shoe.
Size: 8 Women/7 Men Color: Black Rose
I cannot believe how amazing these inexpensive shoes have turned out to be. I wanted to try zero-drop barefoot shoes to see if they would help with my knee and foot pain, like I'd read in orthopedic articles. I bought these to try them out in my gardening. Oh. My. God. My knee stopped hurting, my feet felt the best they've felt in a decade. I garden ridiculously long hours - an average of 8 hours daily in peak season. My yard and garden are on a hill and have tons of tree roots and stones. I tried shoes with thick, squishy "comfort" soles, but my feet and knee were unbearable by the end of the day. And because the comfort shoes were worn so much and so roughly, the mesh uppers were filthy and torn and the squishy soles had started breaking down after the first month. BUT,once I switched to these, everything changed. Seriously! These barefoot shoes have a wide toe box so my toes can spread out like they're supposed to when you walk, and they're extremely flexible, so I could feel the ground and bend my foot naturally, which accommodated all my garden's uneven terrain. The soles of these shoes have deep treads, which keep anything from poking through and hurting your foot's soles, and they have a bit of the tread upturned in the front to serve as a bumper to protect your toes. But they also let you feel the ground, which somehow keeps your feet "right." Those deep treads also kept me sure-footed on those treacherous hills. These shoes proved so comfortable, I ended up wearing them everywhere all summer, and I mean everywhere. Like doing tons of outdoor activities (parks, playgrounds, easy hikes) and playing so, so many sports with my young grandkids, who I watched 6 hours every weekday during their summer break. I wore them around the house and in stores and for walks around my neighborhood. Just everywhere. Here's the crazy thing: the soles of these shoes are still like new - after all the extreme use. They simply didn't wear. And they're not pulling away from the sides, either. The uppers of these are kind of like stretchy neoprene, but the uppers aren't waterproof, although the soles are. I wore thin no-show cotton socks with them, which kept them extremely breathable in the heat and kept my feet from sweating so bad. Every bit of dirt and mud that got on them wiped right off. They have those stretchy string-like laces, so once I got them adjusted where I liked, I could just pull them on. I really am stunned by the quality of these inexpensive shoes and all the use I got out of them. And I don't have to replace them for next summer's gardening and grandkid activity. They look and feel brand new! To whoever made these: thank you for the best possible product. For anyone reading this review: remember what going barefoot felt like, then subtract the hot-street burns, bee stings, and stone bruises on your soles, and give these a try. Your feet, knees, and maybe hips and back just may thank you. ... show more

  • Good budget/starter barefoot shoe
Size: 9 Women/8 Men Color: Grey
Great budget barefoot minimalist shoe. Kind of ugly, but also kind of look like knock off Nike Air VaporMax if you squint. Great feel of the ground and nice wide toe box. They feel more like socks. Good for weightlifting even leg days and athletic/CrossFit movements. The downside is they’re not actually designed to be super secure so if you try to do any sled pushes or something like that, your foot would just come right out of the shoe. They do tend to squeak on some flooring. I hope that they last a while, I only use them for working out at the gym lifting about five days a week, but don’t do any running or cardio in them. The sizing is pretty inconsistent. I originally bought the beige and they were too big and they also looked pink. Bought the gray and they fit a lot better. I’m usually an 8 1/2 or eight and size up to nine for running shoes. I’d buy again ... show more

  • Too Big!
Size: 7 Women/6 Men Color: White
I was hoping this style would work but it ran very large. I usually wear a 6.5/7. Ordered a 38 or 7. That is what I received per label. They are about 2 sises to big. It did not obstruct ankle bone as others have. Liked the material and shape. Back to the drawing board.
