These are EXACTLY what I've been searching for! The name brand barefoot shoes are a waste of money in my opinion, since no matter what, a small amount of rubber on a shoe means it's going to wear out faster than conventional shoes. So these are the right price! I even forewent a pair of Merrell Vapor Glove 6's for these. I tried 14 different pairs until I landed here. They are outstandingly comfortable and accommodating. Light and very breathable, yet just sturdy enough. It has the padding in the ankle of a regular shoe, the upper is very similar to a water shoe, and the bottom rubber is a minimalist barefoot shoe. I'm buying a second pair just in case they ever stop making them! NOTE: These DO run small, at least in the size 10-11 for men. The size 10 mens came with a "42" tag which equates to a size 8.5-9! The size 11 mens came with a 43 tag which equates to a 9.5-10! If you're, let's say, normally a size 10 or 10.5 in mens, I would order a size 11 and 12. Then return the one which doesn't fit the best. If you're normally a size 10.5-11 in mens, I would order a size 11 and 12 and do the same. Get the gist? If you can get the right size, I swear these shoes are awesome. I've tried several of the reasonably priced barefoot shoes on here (Orangineer, Whitin, etc), the Merrell Vapor Glove 6 and Trail Glove 7, and several of even the water shoes! I live in Arizona and it rarely rains here. So if you're often in warm-hot weather, these are the bees knees baby!

This is my first "barefoot" or grounded pair of sneakers. I have worn them a few times and out on the trail on rocks.... I don't know why exactly..... and I don't know if there is a difference between brands.... but I LOVE these shoes! For some reason, they are actually very comfortable, I am walking with better balance, and my feet feel much more comfortable at the end of the day. I don't get that weird burning sensation during or after wearing these shoes. There doesn't seem to be much to these shoes.... light weight, a little support, seem well constructed as far as what there IS TO them... ha. Let's call them MAGICAL NON-SHOES. I got another brand of the same sort of concept, so I'll see how they do.

These are awesome! I have extremely wide feet and these fit like a dream with an extra wide toe box. They are super lightweight and feel like wearing slippers. I haven't tested them in water but they have a removable insert and seem like they would dry out quickly. If you're looking for cushioning or arch support, these don't have it. However, that wasn't what I needed. I wanted shoes that would mimic the experience of going barefoot as closely as possible and these are exactly that! As for sizing, some have recommended sizing up, but I bought my usual size and found it to be perfect. My big toe does come right to the tip of the shoe and I can even see it poking up through the roof of the shoe when I walk, but there is absolutely no friction or discomfort due to the soft and pliable nature of the shoes. If you need more support and would like to add your own arch insert, you may want to size up, but for my use these are perfect! I've only worn them for one day but already ordered a second pair!!! If in doubt, I'd recommend buying two and keeping the ones that you like best...returns are free!

These shoes are perfect! They are so comfortable and lightweight. Well made. And even though I clicked beige It’s more like a soft pretty pink color. So pretty and attractive. I am so glad I bought these! I can imagine these will be great when I go hiking and while keeping my feet happy and protected. I will definitely recommend these to family members too for things such as stabilizing feet while deadlifting weights. Highly recommend!

Wore them a whole month before reviewing to give it a chance to break in . They are comfortable but the toe box is not as wide compared to other barefoot shoes I’ve worn in the past. The angle on the toes narrows down a bit too steep for my liking. Traction is ok but was lacking on certain rocks by the river. Overall decent but not something I would consider an everyday shoe.

I was experiencing foot pad issues. I first used the cushiony sandals. I loved bouncing around in them as it signaled to me that I could walk as much as I wanted. But eventually they would get too big and a little dangerous on stairs, so I decided to upgrade to Nike running shoes for hard surfaces. Loved these Lucy shoes. But I realized I was only fine if I never walked barefoot. This was not practical and hobbling out of bed in the morning was not cool. So, I tried these barefoot shows along with a regime of pedicures, Ceraphil, and vitamin C. Now, these are my favorite shoes, and I have happy, healthy feet. One tip… I had to use foot powder in them as I was barefoot in the barefoot shoes. Surprisingly, after a few times of applying powder, my feet stay dry and odor free! Plus, it’s fun to wear them with maxi skirts for the ultimate essentric and comfort So I don’t care look. So, I am really happy with these shoes. And I am even happier with the fact that I can walk barefoot all day long!
