I purchased this thinking it would be the same as other scrubs. Boy, was I wrong. When I opened the container I was a little taken back by the look of this scrub. It is green & looks like smashed up seaweed!!! But... it works great. I love how it has worked on my feet. I will be buying this again!

UPDATED: So, This product needs the combo of other products from the brand to really be throughly effective. I received the foot file and the foot butter to follow up with this foot scrub. I must say when these products are combined, its next level foot care. I’ll also give a little background that I was as swimmer for half of my life and have been barefoot every chance and opportunity I have. So my feet have been a little tougher than the average. So I started off with the foot file. Oh boy that thing is impressive. It files your feet and callouses down effortlessly with no pain or discomfort. It’s by far the best foot file I have ever used specifically because of its ergonomically design, its ease of use and how incredibly efficient it is at eliminating any toughness or callouses. I have been loyal to Japonesque foot file for maybe 2 years now and this foot file put that one to shame. Then the foot scrub comes in to both soften your feet and remove dead skin and to help even out your feet after the foot file. Immediately after use the foot scrub feels great but as I previously stated in my original review it still stands that you need to use a moisturizer after using this scrub. Finishing up with the foot butter which reminded me of like a mango butter coconut oil. It has the texture and feel of a coconut oil while it looks like a bright ripe mango. (Its a little thing but I like all the fruit references this brand uses. From the kiwi foot scrub to the mango foot butter.) The foot butter feels like a coconut oil that ties everything together to bring your feet full circle to a healthier hydrated and soft feel. It doesn’t take much to evenly layer on each foot and I would recommend wearing slippers or socks after the butter application to ensure fully absorption of the foot butter. It took my feet maybe 20 minutes to fully absorb the product and not feel that coconut polish texture or feeling. Even my tough feet feel fully renewed when using all three of these products together. Independently the star of the show is the foot file. And independently the scrub and butter are nice but when pair together to follow the file it feels like a true pedicure and my feet feel revived and restored. When I used these 3 products together after a week of use I can proudly say my feet no longer have callouses. When I don’t use this or if I switch brands I do not see the same results. I am blown away by this and would HIGHLY recommend the set as a whole to any one who has callouses or tough feet or simply just enjoys a good pedicure. This is an outstanding set that works incredibly well when paired together. I would also like to acknowledge that this company’s customer service is phenomenal. They went above and beyond to thank me for my review, my time and to offer any level of assistance and support to maximize the use and results with their products. I couldn’t be happier with this brand and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I will be scoping out their other products as I have been very happy with this set of products. I would love to see them package this as a full set especially coming into the holiday season as this would be a great gift set. Original: This product looks like a mashed up center of a kiwi fruit or passion fruit. It has a very subtle smell thats hard to place but its not bad at all. My hands and feet both feel incredibly soft immediately after use. This scrub has a unique texture because it feels like a thick coconut oil with like coffee grinds in it to scrub your feet. For me this did not remove my callouses. It did soften my skin and soften the callousness in my feet but it didn’t eliminate them. This scrub also didn't wash off easily. I actually had to use to my hands to remove the product because it was like trying to rinse off Vaseline with coffee grinds off my skin. Lol it does rinse off just not as easily as you would expect. This definitely left my feet feeling more nourished, moisturized and generally softer immediately after use. I do like the way my feet feel after I use this product. I would’ve liked a little further instructions too though. The instructions say to just apply to your feet, rinse and apply moisturizer. I took my time using this product and I spent a few minutes using it as a scrub and then rinsed my feet. I am happy with how soft this product leaves my feet but, I also wish it did a better job with removing callouses. I am hopeful that with continued use I will be able to see better long term results with my callouses and foot softness. I would recommend this product but specifically for like dry skin or to keep your feet soft. I would also note its absolutely necessary to follow up this product with a foot moisturizer. Although it does make your feet feel very soft immediately after use it also dries them out if you don’t apply a moisturizer at some point after use. I allowed my feet to just dry for about an hour before I went to apply moisturizer and I was surprised how my feet went from being extremely soft to coarse and dry. I believe this product requires** the combo of a follow up moisturize to ensure its effectiveness and long term results.
