This stuff is no joke. It cut through soap scum and other crud extremely well! The key is to let it do its thing for 5 to 10 minutes before you scrub.

I was looking for a non-toxic oven cleaner that could handle aluminum. One thing led to another, and I ended up reading reviews about this. This is not sold as an oven cleaner, but can handle some of that job, too. As I read the reviews, I speculated that it could handle some of the other tasks we were slated to do on a commercial spring cleaning job. I tested it as soon as it came, and was blown away at what all it could handle and how well. There are some things that it needs to set on overnight, and some things the powder works best on. However, we have used it to remove scuff marks, crayon, and other marks from walls and doors/door frames, clean the oven (mildly bad) by leaving spray on for a while, cleaned up various kinds of sinks (some REALLY bad), but the clincher was how it cleaned up my shower tiles and grout. I sprayed it on, forgot about it for about an hour while I did other things, and when I came back to wash it off, with only light scrubbing the shower looked like new! I have a 32 year old fiberglass shower enclosure that has aged and has lost most of the gelcoat so it is not "slick" anymore. Keeping it clean is near impossible and recoating it just is not going to happen as I have seen this on other folk's stuff and it is horrible. I have been using a product called Ka-Boom to clean it but that is nowhere to be found anymore. This stuff actually works like the old Ka-Boom product and smells just like it. Apparently this has two types of acid in it that breaks down the body oils and soap scum. Smells very strong and use in a vented area or suffer the smell getting embedded in your nose. Lather rinse repeat. It took several applications to get my fiberglass floor clean but it really worked. Had to scrub with a plastic bristle brush but had to do that with the old Ka-Boom too. Nose is running now but the last application on on and soaking for the last scrub and rinse. Ordering a second bottle now. ... show more

Great product, but always leaking out during delivery. Use great caution and suggest to open by sink to rinse bottle off and hands before any skin peeling happens.

I have used Bar Keeper for several year, but the powder kind. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it comes in a spray. I live in an apartment that has iron in the water and the bathtub/shower walls and shower curtain turn reddish. I have used several products which then I scrub and scrub and they may or may not work. Well the Bar Keeper spray will take little or no elbow grease! I've been tired (I am old) and have just sprayed the product and the red/dirt will disappear. I have also used this on my sinks, I have used it in the toilets for stains, you will find many uses for it....bathroom, kitchen, etc. You will never regret buying this product. ... show more
