The kit has been designed in a way where the Funnels can be widely moved and spread out like wings while maintaining a balanced silhouette. It has inherited the Multi-link gimmick, allowingthe armor on the legs slide in conjunction with the movements of the legs, and is a culmination of an uncompromising design philosophy unique to the RG series! Rifle x 1, Bazooka x 1, Shield x 1, Beam saber (handle x 3, beam blade x 2), Hand parts (left and right) x 3 types each, Weapon holder (right) x 1 type, Realistic decal x 1. Because this was my third build (second RG) I took my sweet time getting through it. I knew what to expect (thought I did) from an RG since my first build was an RG and compared to the HG, they're no joke. THIS kit had a few more sprues than either of my first two kits. Regardless, the quality of the kit is remarkable. The instructions are perfectly accurate and very easy to interpret even if you never read the text - the symbols and imagery is beautifully illustrated and clear. Some of the smaller pieces didn't have the greatest "snug" fit, for example, the head to the chest is a bit loose and the head array as well - a slight bump will generally cause it to fall out. The model itself is utterly gorgeous. I didn't install the decals at this point since I am planning to do panel lines and some minimal aging, but I don't see why those will be any different than the Sazabi decals. The only issue which caused me frustration is trying to find a decent place to hold onto while establishing its pose position. That's hardly something to be upset over though. Worth keeping in mind is the Action Base 2 is somewhat challenged by the sheer weight of this beast. It tends to bounce around and stress the hinges. You’ll love this kit if you buy it. It’s a super fun build. It’s beautiful even without any extra work. There are a lot of stickers but you don’t HAVE to apply any of them. With or without them it looks amazing. It’s a little bit back heavy, so I would recommend a stand. But it’s NOT a requirement. There are fuel tanks on the backpack that can be used to help prop the kit up and prevent it from falling backwards. Overall this kit is easily a 10/10 and I would recommend buying it if you’re thinking about it. ... show more

I want to start my review by stating I am a novice at building gunpla. This is was my third ever! This is however an insane build full of crazy detail and wonderful gimmicks and features. From the secret cannon in the arm to the 3 hidden beam saber holders, you'll absolutely have a blast building and displaying this model. It's appearently much larger than other 1/144th scale models, towering over other real and high grades, but I think that's fine, the Hi Nu is supposed to be an imposing Gundam and you really get that feeling when you have this kit built. The color separation is great and the panel lines are great. Building it, despite it's complex looking design, was fun and simple, albeit kinda time consuming. The only real negative i can think of is the gold they chose, it's not the best looking but can be fixed by either gold Gundam markers or regular paint. I think everyone should have one of these! ... show more

This is a extremely good model. The detail is out of this world for something of this size, plus as a RG grade the parts are small and there a lot of them. The difficulty of this one has more to do with the amount of parts it has. The instructions are so easy to follow and the kit so well designed that despite all the parts, this model is not hard for beginners to put together and simply may be a overwhelming. Even though RG are not beginner models, I would say anybody can put this together and have fun doing it. ... show more

RG Hi-Nu truly does take model kits to a different level. Even in 144 scale it's big and chunky, but it moves unexpectedly well. No matter what you want to see it do, it will surprise you by allowing you to take it even further than that. Everything moves, while also being sturdy enough to hold it's position with ease. Its amazing. Also the design itself. I love the Nu Gundam, always liked it a bit more than Hi-Nu. But this redesign has so much passion that you'll never doubt it really is the perfect version of Nu-Gundam. ... show more
