There is a little learning curve and I nicked my neck and chin several times during the first 4-5 shaves, but this has been a really positive experience and I have not had a single ingrown hair. With the Gillette multi blade products I would regularly get pustules and ingrown hairs. I still need to be careful and shave in the mirror instead of in the shower, but I would definitely recommend this product. The base is also really convenient. It gave me a good shave and was supriseingly very smooth and i only got one small nick which was admittedly my own fault i think and it didnt hurt at all, only problem is it came with some hair on it which i just washed off but was a little disturbing but would still highly recommend this razor for the price and effectiveness. ... show more

If your not sure if you should buy this I garentee you should, this razor has helped me with smooth shaving and no razor bumps which I have problems with I've tried lots of razors and none compare to this razor the weight in your hands is nice and it glides smoothly across my skin.

Although I have the small hands of a petite woman, the handle is too thin to use comfortably. I struggle to maintain a grip on it in the shower.
