This review is for a set of two Balsam and Cedar candles. The set comes well-packed in a decorative box with burn instructions. The candles themselves are a bit on the small side. At 20 dollars for 2 candles (as of the time of this review), you're paying 10 dollars each for something as big as a can of nuts, jar of fruit preserves, or small soup can, so the price is a little high relative to the size of the candle. The scent is really nice, unisex, woodsy, and earthy. These burn well and will probably last a long time. The scent is strong without being overpowering and this has worked well in my office. If you were wanting to use this to fill a large livingroom with strong scent you may need to burn them both at the same time. While the value relative to the size of the candle isn't great, the scent is one of my all time favorites- and that's saying something because we are a house of candle junkies. Overall I would recommend these as long as you're okay with paying this much for smaller candles. ... show more

I guess if you're just creating some mood lighting it could be alright. 😅 Edit: They were really considerate of my subpar experience so just based on seller interaction I may give them another go. These candles are exactly what I was looking for. I use them in my office now that we're getting into the holiday season. They mimic the natural scents of balsam and cedar. The fragrance is fresh and rich and strong enough to keep a consistent level of aroma in an average-sized room (say, 12 x 12). I have not tried the candles in a larger space. I love the soy because it burns cleanly and leaves no creosote residue on my ceiling. The candles came well-packaged and in attractive, rustic-looking amber jars with screw lids. Unlike the majority of candles tested, this candle has a solid, pleasant, and realistic smell that proves to be enjoyable to those asked when walking within the scent zone. An overall great product.
