This is Christmas for my nieces! And they could not be more excited. They are really into the journaling and fun teen girl looking style that comes with so much of these items nowadays. So this was a definite success story for their Christmas. There’s so much that comes in this little journaling kit that it’ll keep them busy for a long time and they probably won’t be able to use all of it frankly. I know that, I usually can’t use all of the artistic embellishments that I typically choose for my projects. I over shoes and select way too many because there’s just so many and they’re all fun. But in reality I end up putting most of them back because you can’t use them all. I feel that the same goes for this little kids. Because it really has quite a lot in it. It has so many cute accessories and would work great for a young girl at the age of 6 to a preteen/young teen. When girls start getting to the tween years, it can be harder to figure out a gift that works. I know several girls in this age range that like to keep a journal. This set has a lot of fun extras that come with it to personalize a journal and make it more like a scrapbook style journal. The colors and style are cute. The bunny pen is fun and has glitter in it. It might be cheaper to make a kit like this, but then you have to factor in your time and effort. This is something I might send to my niece straight from Amazon, because it's an all-in-one gift that has a nice presentation. I do the majority of my shopping on-line and reviews are very important to me when choosing items. This is a very sweet kit. It isn't the same as the old fashioned diaries. It's a journaling set with things included to really personalize and decorate all the pages.
