Unless you use mason jars and the normal metal lids for canning/preserving, you should probably just throw them away. They rust and they're annoying to use. I use my mason jars to store various foods, leftovers, dry goods (e.g. seeds/nuts) dressings that I make, etc. This lids are way better for that. I just pop them in the dishwasher along with the jar. ... show more

Really, throw away those rusty metal lids you've been using and switch to these durable, leakproof, easy to clean plastic ones. (Note that they are not useable for canning purposes.) For every other use, we've found them to be superior in every way.

Love these. I make my own salad dressings and use the jars for them. These offer the perfect seal, and don’t rust! So that’s my favorite part. Not really a fan of the ball jar lids since I’m not canning.

these are exactly what I needed! I reuse coconut oil, ghee, sauce jars for hot beverages.. the only problem is the inner painted part of lids get rust spots which affect the taste of whatever we're drinking.. even my family agrees! not only do they work well & seal well, they also serve as easy carry without burning hands and fingers... will probably order more !! thank you!! . ... show more

I find these way better to use than the standard two-piece metal lids. I store the juice I make in these, which makes for a great grab-and-go breakfast. These have never leaked, go through the dishwater just fine, and are just so darn convenient. Love them!
