Two little cons first: the ends of the bars could have used a better sanding (I used my grinder) and the two screws are not magnetic, so it could be quite annoying to drop them inside the "hub".. I threw them away and got two actual steel screews. Ok, parts are well constructed and I wanted something that I could just slide the towell WITHOUT the central hub, which would prevent the towser from being spread. I installed the hub on the side, close to the wall, and voila: solution to our problems. Recommended.

Ok I ordered this for my new bathroom thinking it would be the perfect fit for over the toilet next to the sink, and guess what, it was! Here’s the thing, I would have to mount it to tile. The mounting plate is small, like, really small, as in there’s barely a half an inch between the holes. This mounting plate is the only thing keeping this bar, plumb, level, and square. Did I mention the mounting holes were only half an inch apart? The first person who grabs a towel, even moderately abruptly off this thing, will put it out of whack. It would be great for a decorative piece, it was very well made. But for day to day function, I’d have to recommend something else.

This is a nice sturdy looking towel rack. I like the fact that you can make it for one towel or two. It doesn't hold two bath towels but works great for hand towel and wash cloth. It was easy to put up but I didn't like the anchors that came with it. I just used heavy ones. A nice looking towel bar for a bathroom or kitchen
