This just might be The Perfect Backpack. I love the tone-on-tone animal print! I was a bit concerned that it was going to be too small, after reading sone of the reviews. But it really has plenty of room to hold all of the things I carry. The two outside pockets are just the right size for an umbrella and water bottle. I love all of the inside pockets and compartments, and the outside sections. It makes it easy to organize my items without adding bulk. The fabric is soft but very durable. The shoulder straps are comfortable. The zippers glide easily. I will feel confident using this when I travel due to all of the anti-theft and safety/locking features. Surprisingly, it has become my every-day, go-to bag. I bought it with the intention of using it for travel, but it works perfectly for everyday use. It’s lightweight and very easy to carry. Baggallini has changed my attitude about carrying a backpack. I’ve never enjoyed carrying a backpack, but I am adamant about keeping my personal information safe. Also, sometimes I need more room than a handbag when I do day trips with my grandson. I was a little skeptical about this backpack, especially because of the cost. I have used this backpack three times for day trips. I absolutely love it! It is lightweight, even packed full. It is not as big as most backpacks as you can see by the pics. It has an anti-theft RFID-blocking technology pocket inside the bag which keeps your phone secure and a separate anti-theft locking zippered pocket for debit/credit cards, driver’s license, insurance cards, cash, keys, and any personal information you want protected. I like that this pocket is easy to get to, but it is against my back when I wear the backpack. Therefore, no one can walk up behind me and unzip it. Baggallini advertises this bag as slash resistant material and water resistant. There are so many pockets inside and out to separate your items. There are two pockets on each side for water or drink bottles. Overall, I am very pleased and pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I would have loved to keep this bag. There's a lot to like about it, such as size, organization and material. But I returned it because the straps are wide, very stiff and dug into my arms. I ended up getting the Baggallini Modern Excursion Backpack instead, which I actually like a bit less (too many external pockets on the front for me and fewer security features) but which has padded straps that fit me much better. ... show more

I was not sure I’d like this bag when I bought it, but I had already returned two others that weren’t quite right. I’m so glad I gave this one a try! I use this as my everyday purse. The fact that it’s a travel back pack is a plus. It’s light even when I have my everyday stuff in it. It’s a beautiful pattern that goes with everything. It has so many compartments, and I love the safety features. I can lock the main compartment and rear smaller compartment because the zipper pulls are carabiners and easy to use. It also has an RFD pocket inside. It also has enough structure to sit up (doesn’t slouch) and the fabric is awesome and will be easy to clean. You may think it’s pricey, but it’s worth every penny! I bought this bag for a trip, but I liked it so much, I still use it as my every day bag. The wallet pocket is convenient and sits against my back, so I’m not worried anyone will take my cash or credit cards while I’m wearing the bag. The main compartment is roomy enough for my daily needs with extra room for bits and bobs when I’m shopping. Inner pockets hold pens, makeup, and AirPods for easy access. This is a nice bag with some nice features (back zippered pocket securely holds cards, money, passport, etc.), but the size is disappointing. I’m not sure why they call this a vacation backpack unless it’s because of all the antitheft features. It’s sure not because you can pack much in it. I would use this for a day bag, but it would in no way be big enough if I were taking it on vacation. It’s about the size of a large purse, or less than half the size of a standard backpack. I had to struggle to get my iPad with Magic Keyboard to fit, and that was with nothing else inside the bag. If I were to pack the bag to capacity with the iPad, I likely wouldn’t be able to zip it. Also, Baggallini really skimps on the the outer pockets for water bottles. Why do you do this, Baggallini?? I. Don’t. Get. It. Also, I’m 5’1”, and as small as the bag is, the straps are extra long, and cannot be adjusted enough to raise the pack high enough so that it doesn’t slam into my lower back with every step. This is the second backpack I’ve purchased from Baggallini and the straps on the other one are the same way. I have never had this issue with any other brand of backpack, and I have ALOT of backpacks of various brands and sizes. Baggallini is supposed to have been developed by world travelers, yet the way the simplest details are overlooked boggles the mind. ... show more
