I was looking for a day bag to use for vacation. I almost exclusively use anti theft bags, even for every day. I have some other, smaller anti theft backpacks, but they were too small and lacked pockets for keeping my things organized. This one seems just the right size and has lots of storage. It’s not a big, full size backpack, but it doesn’t skimp on pockets. I like the fact that it has 2 front zippers and a wallet type, locking, zipper pocket on the back and also has open side pockets for tissues, sunglasses or an umbrella. I will be able to wear it and have my hands free. This one will hold my 11” iPad Air that has a case. I bought the gray, because that will go with about anything. It looks nice and the gray was on sale for around half price! That made it cheaper than the other anti theft brand I usually carry. It’s easy to take on and off and will be able to be used for vacations or every day. I don’t feel like I’m carrying my kid’s backpack.

Baggallini has changed my attitude about carrying a backpack. I’ve never enjoyed carrying a backpack, but I am adamant about keeping my personal information safe. Also, sometimes I need more room than a handbag when I do day trips with my grandson. I was a little skeptical about this backpack, especially because of the cost. I have used this backpack three times for day trips. I absolutely love it! It is lightweight, even packed full. It is not as big as most backpacks as you can see by the pics. It has an anti-theft RFID-blocking technology pocket inside the bag which keeps your phone secure and a separate anti-theft locking zippered pocket for debit/credit cards, driver’s license, insurance cards, cash, keys, and any personal information you want protected. I like that this pocket is easy to get to, but it is against my back when I wear the backpack. Therefore, no one can walk up behind me and unzip it. Baggallini advertises this bag as slash resistant material and water resistant. There are so many pockets inside and out to separate your items. There are two pockets on each side for water or drink bottles. Overall, I am very pleased and pleasantly surprised with this purchase. Even though I was skeptical of the cost when purchasing, I feel that it is worth it!!!!!!!

Well made, feature packed bag to help keep you safe (RFID theft/pickpocketing)

If you travel, you NEED this. If you don't travel, this is a cute and functional bag that will easily replace your purse. Cons: none. Pros: • Very roomy without being bulky! • RFID theft blocking in several pockets and areas of the bag. • The ID / cash part is located on the part of the bag that sits against your back instead of the front, making it more secure. There are several card slots and 2 zipper sections. (I used one for coins, and 1 for my passport.) • Zippers move easily and clip to rings on the bag so they cannot be easily opened. • There is one non-secure pocket for quick access items. • Reinforced place for your charging cord to connect to your phone so your charging block can stay in your bag. • Holds a lot without being cumbersome. • Straps are comfortable and easily adjustable so you can change the length. • Spills wipe clean easily. (Note: this is available in several colors, but I bought a darker color with print to help hide dirt...) • Well constructed, quality materials. Overall, this is such a useful travel bag. It's versatile, and I also like to use it for daily use. It's a bit more expensive than cheaper brands, but you get what you pay for: a cute, well made, well thought out, feature packed bag to help keep you safe from RFID theft and pickpocketing.

Good for travel safety

I have used many Baggallini purses and backpacks over the years. This one overall did not disappoint. I bought it for a trip I was taking where I knew I would be walking a lot and would be in large crowds. The safety features were great. I loved that the built-in wallet feature was close to my body and could be locked. In fact all the pockets except one could be locked allowing you to keep things like tissues, lip gloss, etc. there. My only complaint were the straps. I'm guessing they were making them sturdy but they are so stiff they can be difficult to get off and on. I often needed assistance. I'll just use this one for travel only.

Went to use today, 2024, doesn’t work, even u tubed instructions just to make sure using correctly, nope, doesn’t work. Useless purchase. Don’t waste your money!!

LOVE this backpack!! Very good quality material and sturdy, easy to zip zippers. Bought it for a trip and ended up using it as my everyday purse. It holds a lot! But is a slim design so it doesn’t feel or look bulky. I love the wallet department and decided to use it instead of an actual wallet. Saves space! The side pocket can hold a disposable water bottle. I use one side to slip my glasses in.

Not That Great for Travel Bag Usage

This bag is excellent quality! I bought it for a recent trip to Alaska in lieu of carrying a purse plus an under seat airplane bag. I used it for my Nook, neck pillow, and various small essentials making it jam packed. It worked but had a serious lack of essentials. The outer open pouches would not even hold a slim Smart Water bottle. An iPhone 16 pro would fit perfectly in them however the phone would easily slip out as there was nothing to strap it in, making the side pouches virtually useless. I ended up using a pocket on my leggings for my phone. There are an abundance of zippered outer pockets but once the main compartment is packed, they are tight and hold very little. The main compartment has a few slide in pockets, one of which would have been nice for my phone-but it was made too narrow. The straps are very strong but too wide and without padding are uncomfortable. I would not recommend this for travel use. I do like the carabiner style zipper tabs that help secure the 'purse pocket'. Over all it is more like a purse and even at that, it lacks appropriate easy access safe storage for a phone.
